Since Jan 2004

65+ year old male

Baton Rouge, LA

Quiet but active mid-sixties couple who like to travel by car when possible, and like destinations that are either cultured and progressive cities (NY, San Francisco, Washington, Santa Fe), national parks, historical sites, or places where we happen to have family (NY again, Philadelphia, California) Always interested in new routes. Not interested in cruises, gambling resorts, or lying on beaches. Sometimes our destination is a particular opera or Mahler performance or a particular museum exhibit. We like I-81 in Virginia and the secondary roads near it, and of course I-70 in Utah and Western Colorado. We like reasonable deals at very nice hotels, but Holiday Inn Express is fine for stopping for the night by the interstate.
