50-64 year old male

Newark-on-Trent, United Kingdom

I spend about 50-75 nights per year in hotels for work and tend to try and stay in hotels I know, it avoids disappointments. I am convinced that the normal work traveller is relatively easy to please and cater for, I don't think I am any different. A comfy bed, adjustable heating, large enough towels, tv, lighting and shower that work, just the very basics that should be very easy to get right. I am sure others want car park, food etc but that's probably location driven. Ok, if it's for pleasure with the family my requirements are probably a little bit different but then it's type of break specific, the basic requirements are still the same and I am often amazed how often supposedly upmarket establishments can't or don't even provide those, the attention to detail is often missing and it's often the very minor points that cause the most irritation.
