After noticing that Long's bakery is ranked the #1 restaurant in Indpls. on TripAdvisor, I decided to add to my profile so folks would have some context to my reviews. I grew up in a big city on the East coast and have traveled around the world on my own dime. Stayed in places that charged less than 3 dimes a night (Kabul), as well as restaurants that charged a dollar for a full dinner including a glass of wine (So Spain in the '70's), when tapas was free with your glass of cheap wine, and you could buy cooked grilled sardines on the beach from local fisherman. I've cooked on my own tagine bowl on the beaches of So Morocco, and made my own chapatis in India. I've also spent $200 bucks for a dinner in some fine establishments. i prefer the value find. Excellent food for a reasonable price. I think of myself as reasonably objective. I don't think paying $13 for a glass of wine from a bottle I can buy for $13 makes any sense except that's how I discovered this wine. Your exp. may vary..
