After 9-11, I realized that if I wanted to see the world, that I need to start making plans to travel, or it will never happen. I made a plan for the next 20 years to go to all of the places that I want to visit. I will allow myself to deviate from the plan slightly, realizing that if I never made the plan to begin with, I would probably not travel as often. When each of my four children are 10 years old, I took them each to a different continent. I took my oldest son to Turkey in 2006 to see the total eclipse. In May 2008, I took my second child to Brazil. In June 2010, I took my third child to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. In 2012, I took my fourth child to Australia and New Zealand. Other places that I want to visit include Japan, China, Sweden (Ice Hotel only and Northern Lights), Iceland, Egypt, Peru, Easter Island, Galapagos Islands, and Antartica. When I'm retired, I'll go on the cruises again, or go on the tour bus to Ireland.
