I have lived/worked in the Temecula valley since 1991, watching it grow from a handful of restaurants to its current suburban status struggling to identify itself as a 'wine country' tourist destination.
I'm a 4th generation SoCal resident. Married since 1986, my husband and I traveled abroad both before and after our marriage, bringing our 3 kids along at every opportunity. Now that the 2 older ones are in college, we travel with our youngest who is as brave and adventurous as her older siblings.
When travelling, we like quality accommodations for a fair price, we love sampling local food places along the road. We are not into museums and such, preferring to observe mother nature's beauty. We are all avid wildlife watchers.
My husband has a 'driving problem' meaning we do a lot of road trips - mostly in the western states. But every trip we go on we must allow him to spend at least one day in the car 'looking around' as he calls it.
