Having reserved a table online for our second visit to this restaurant, it was pleasing that the table was waiting for us and also a window seat as requested. The staff were friendly and efficient as on our previous visit. Drinks were delivered first to our table followed by shared starters of Olives, and Mussels in a cream, garlic white wine and herb sauce. These were both excellent with the Mussels being a big hit. For our main courses we chose Seafood Grill, Seafood Tagliatelle, Fish Pie and Seafood Ramen. All of us are big fish eaters and our view was: the Seafood Grill was excellent apart from the tasteless crispy squid; the Seafood Tagliatelle was not good value for money being a very small portion that was lost in the bowl with prawns that had little taste and a limited amount of other fish; the Fish Pie was freshly cooked, quite dense but tasty with a very small amount of the three vegetables accompanying the dish; the Seafood Ramen was huge served in a large bowl with plenty of fish and taste. The seafood throughout was generally very good with the Mussels excellent, but the prawns and squid variable. We also had two pudding which were good and the Rose wine was excellent. The final bill came to £120 with everything from the 'a la carte' menu. It was only when we got home that we realised we were not offered the 'set menu' as on our previous visit, this is meant to be available daily from 12noon to 7pm and we were there at 2pm! So minus points for that! The service between courses was slow but that suited us although others may find this irritating. All in all, the service was excellent but let down today by the kitchen.
