Non-descript hotel that is slightly unusual because it's in the same building as a performing arts theater (but there is nothing problematic about that). Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Room was basic but absolutely fine. Nothing else adjacent to the hotel except residences but restaurants and shopping are all within a mile.

I was put up here when my train was delayed and I couldn't make my connection home. Walking up, it was very understated. The rooms are very clean, relatively basic. But what made this place work was the staff.
Let's just say I walked in absolutely frazzled and needed to get into my room quick. Despite the train company not having followed through on their responsibilities, the desk staff got me into my room and waited patiently for the train company to pay. Karin and her colleague were exceptionally patient and understanding. Even though the train company was supposed to call me to let me know things were handled, they didn't. It was Karin that texted me. Thanks -- you made this unexpected delay easier to deal with.
For the record, the room is quiet, the bed is comfy, the wifi is great -- I'll stay again if I come down this way.

Four family members recently stayed for three nights in this hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. We were in the area to meet relatives and tour around in the area of our ancestors. We found Hotel Falkoping to meet our expectations. Some important things to know are the restaurant is not open in the evenings on the weekend. You will need a code to get in the hotel after certain hours as there is not anyone at the front desk. The staff we did meet were very helpful and accommodating. The food served for breakfast was perfect to get us started each day. I would recommend this hotel to people who need to visit the area.
This hotel i "OK" if you don't pay too much for overnight

The hotel is a three-star hotel and not more than that. It's clean even if the beds could be more comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly poor to be served in a Swedish hotel.
Our opinion is that the hotel was understaffed. About 40 guests and one person worked upon arrival as well in the morning with the breakfast. The lady in the morning had to check the food, repair the coffee machine, remove plates and cutlery and also work with the guests check out. ALONE!
The most astounding thing happened when we came for checking out. A couple in front of us left the room key and the lady said. "Everything paid. Thank you for staying here". But the couple said that they had a dinner last night. Two meals, beers, wines, biscuits, coffee and... So they told the lady what they had eaten and she charged them for that! Then our turn. The lady: "Everything paid. Thank you...". But also we had drunk wine and eaten biscuits so she charged us for what we informed her!
Can we recommend this hotel? Yes if you find a budget price! It's absolutely "OK" if you don't pay too much. The two persons we saw working there were very, very friendly and nice people. So we wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel in the future.
