Hello,
We are sad to see this review. We apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced during your stay with us. We will investigate your concern and get back to you to understand the issue. Rest assured for the dirty and noisy room. We have notified the housekeeping staff, and we always follow procedures for the cleanliness of the room. This is the basic thing for our organization to attract travellers. We have trained our staffs again to thoroughly inspect all the rooms prior to guest’s arrival. We have further made inspection for noise issues, and we have an audited person to avoid the recurrence. We always wish our guests could have a peaceful and pleasant stay.

So I travel a lot and am pretty flexible with hotels....BUT this hotel is one of the worst I have seen in a long time. When you enter the lobby there is a crazy contruction obstacle course just to get ot the front desk. The room was okay, but the TV was crazy and the internet Wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel building. I don't know why there is a big bar and restaurant because it was never open in the evening. And the big indoor pool is a complete waste....the water is freezing and the bottom is pee yellow...really gross! The whirlpool water was barely warm and the dirty layer of suds on top of the water were disgusting. This is definitely NOT one of the best economy hotels in KC!

the current management has ran this property into the ground. It was a perfectly fine Holiday Inn despite a quirky design. My last stay there was the worst hotel experience in years and I stay at hotels over 200 nights a year. bar and restaurant closed, elevator closed, black mold in shower, sheets appear to have not been changed from previous "guest", dirty floors, peeling paint when I left there I was sick for a week.

The pool looked dirty. There was a slight green tint to the water. Our room did not have a blanket and when we asked for one we were told there were none available in laundry. The walls in the bathroom looked dirty and there were holes in the wall throughout the room. The breakfast wasn’t too bad but nobody kept up with refilling the food so quite a bit was unavailable. They were also doing renovations in the lobby so we could not use the bar or workout room. Based on the website I had higher expectations and was very disappointed with this stay. The parking is also not that great. There’s only one entrance into the hotel and it’s through the front.
