Rooms are newly renovated, I was there 8-10 years ago too. Pool area is nice. We tried the home made pizzas, very tasty.

A pleasant restful hotel, where the rooms are nice and the staff are very friendly. Possibly the service could have been a little quicker, but overall it was great. The Avani app is maybe not the best, but I would definitely return again.

There was fire emergency, customers were outside, no firemarshal, no first aiders. 991 and fire truck came late.

Unfortunately, my flight from Cape Town was delayed and I did not land until almost midnight. However, I presumed that, as I had booked a transfer to the hotel, my driver would be waiting. However, despite being aware that my flight had been delayed, he had left to go home. Consequently, I was left at an almost abandoned airport, in what is not the safest of countries for a caucasian traveller. Fortunately, I managed to find a driver from another hotel, who kindly dropped me off at my hotel. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
