This is by far the worst hotel we have reluctantly stayed in for 1 night. Reception confirmed it was a quiet room. We did not sleep all night with the noise from the street, even tried earplugs to no avail. We’re meant to stay for 5 nights. Informed reception the next morning & asked to move rooms. No rooms available so we had to leave. I wasn’t sad to leave the room was dirty with a portable noisy air conditioner as a bed side table. We paid for 5 nights & they agreed to refund 4 nights. We have had to involve bookings.com once we arrived home as the hotel says they will refund but to date have not refunded. This place is horrible. Please take our review as a warning. Do NOT STAY HERE!!!

You cannot beat the location. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a good value for the location. We had a triple room and it was clean and spacious enough for three of us. I didn't feel the breakfast was a good value when we had a late morning. Literally, while eating, all the buffet items were put away. I certainly understand that they have a schedule to keep and if your group will eat enough from the buffet it is not out of line. Going out to get pastries and drinks is probably a better option, but food is expensive anywhere.

Rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. Beds are very uncomfortable. I asked for a spare pillow at reception and was informed by the gentleman at the desk that he had to see if there was a room free to take one out of and that he would drop it to my room..I never got the pillow 🤣. The first morning I woke up to ants in the room. We got moved after informing reception. Breakfast was 15 euro per person and it was a real disappointment. Coffee was nice though. The location is brilliant. Right beside notre Dame. Take the train from the airport to Saint Micheal stop and it's a five minute walk. It's on a street full of bars and restaurants so it's quite noisy at night. If you're looking for somewhere just to lay your head and be quite close to everything for a decent enough price this is the place.

I was originally planning to start this review with a complaint about the air conditioning...but a housekeeper managed to fix what the front desk guy and the repair guy couldn't! So I had air con on my last day! It had been blowing hot air; when I reported it they immediately got maintenance, who said it was working fine, yet it was 25C in my room and set for 17C, and the dial read "chaud". Everytime we tried to change it to "Froid" it would auto-revert back to chaud. I gave up and slept with the window open. Came back from touring around on my last day and the housekeeper and managed to get it to stay on cold! and boy, was it cold. So bottom line: if your air con is not working...it's not broke but it'll take some time to figure out how to get the settings to stay adjusted.
so, that being dealt with...
Location: Fab. In the heart of the latin quarter. patiserries and every restaurant food you could imagine, just on the three little streets around you. Walk out of the hotel 40 steps and you have Notre-Dame and the Seine right in front of you. You are located at one of the busiest metro stations in the city, with about 4 lines coming through (direct line to Eiffel Tower), so getting around is easy (and you want the Pl. Saint Michel exit from the metro to get back to your hotel). This hotel has an elevator, which is a huge help when you have heavy luggage.
Room: I was in a single with ensuite. Small but good enough when you're only there to sleep. Everything was looking brand new - paint, sink, shower, toilet, faucet....truly a new, clean room! There's a closet with hangers, chest of drawers, night table, vanity shelf and drawer, towel rack, samsung TV (no idea what channels...I didn't use it).
Bed: My only complaint. the mattress was saggy on the edges...roll over and you nearly slide right out of bed. The middle was adequate enough that I didn't have issue.
Noise: couldn't hear a thing from the street in my room...not a single peep. The biggest noise was from inside the hotel - everybody seems to bang the elevator door, and the stairs creak. Ask for a room away from the stairs and elevator, although both are centrally located. Can't hear a thing room-to-room but you hear everything in the hallway. but it was not an issue...and I abhor noise.
Housekeeping was great. Toiletries supplied were a small bar of soap, some shower gel and shampoo. Towels were fine.
Restaurant: Didn't eat there; I found better vegetarian options on the other streets. There's Turkish, Moroccan, Arabic, Indian, Thai, American, Italian, Pizza joints, Greek, Fondue, French, Pubs...seriously, no problem with choices.
Supermarket: At the end of the side street, or a Carrefour City Express across on Saint michel.
