Oh man where do I start? I guess from the moment I arrived! Checking in with a unfriendly front desk! They said my reservation from the reservation company was declined and they needed my credit card! I told them the money was already taken out of my account. But none the less I gave her my credit card to hold! Thinking that they were just going to hold it! Boy was I wrong! They ended up charging my bank account 3 times placing a $600 dollar hold on my bank account! Good thing I had enough money to still feed my kids! I couldn't imagine if they had done this to someone with limited funds! I went down to the desk to find out why they did this! They told me some BS and back to my room I went. Now it's the next day and After calling me reservation company I was told they already had paid! Back to the front desk I go and their answer was.. We can't do anything call your bank.. Moving on to now I'm just whatever let me just enjoy the tiny dirty dirt ring around the top pool! Maybe they will clean my room while I'm gone! Wrong AGAIN! They did dump the tiny baby garbage and take my dirty towels! I called and ask for more towels and was told of I come down to the front desk they may have two! I did that because my son needed to dry off from the pool! I say can you resend house keeping please to actually clean the room.. couple hours later they finally show up and give me 3 towels. We have 2 adults and 2 kids so I guess we are sharing! They did not replace toiletries or soaps even though I paying the same price as the first night! My son was looking forward to swimming so I ask the cleaning lady in the hallway for towels for the pool while she has a stack of them on her cart she tells me to go looking for the laundry room and ask them they may have some. I'm checking out today and The only thing I can say positive about this place is that it was quiet. I hope if you decide to stay here you won't! I would rate a zero but it won't let me

Thank you for taking the time for not only your rating, but the assorted issues you have brought to our attention in your review. We do apologize that your experience with our front desk agent did not sound favorable, because of course we expect from all of our staff to be friendly and upbeat with all of our guests. We are sorry for the issue that occurred between the third party you booked through and us that didn't make this a smooth checkin. Normally when taking anyone's credit card it is normally authorized as a hold until the guest check's out. Not knowing when you checked in or the name you checked under we are not able to investigate what happened to give you an answer why there were 3 charges of a total of $600, but we do apologize for any inconvenience. Pool towels are available at the front desk, so our guests don't have to use the towels issued for there rooms so we are sorry for any mixup that occurred in this issue also. We do hope you give us another chance the next time you come to the Clearlake area with an outcome of a better experience then what occurred. Thank- you again.
