The estate Poggiolo extends for 50 hectares of forest, olive groves, vineyards and arable land about 250 m. altitude, in the ancient county of Porta Eburnea, 12 kilometers from Perugia. Poggiolo means small hill, a natural balcony and at the same time created artificially with a series of terraces on a small plateau crossed by the river Caina. The heart of the estate is represented by the English park within which are located the villa and farmhouses; around buildings used for agricultural purposes, the arable land, vineyards and, on a hill, the forest and olive groves. The Poggiolo is an oasis of peace and tranquility with the charm of an old country estate.
