Cleanliness and attention to detail by the management company

We have rented here before a year ago and it was nice. So, we decided to rent again. Upon on arrival, it seemed to be clean and maintained on the outside. When we entered the front door it appeared clean, however, as soon as we took off our shoes we noticed that the floor had not been cleaned, or swept there was sand in every room and I mean every single room along with dust and other particle, roaches in the bathroom that had not been taken out. I noticed after this, that it looked as though the rest of the areas, living room, bedroom, and bathroom had just been wiped down, the refrigerator and stovetop had not even been wiped down at all, sad because we really enjoyed our time spent here last year. When paying as much as we did and also having to pay for a cleaning service after we have left, just felt as though we had not been serviced as we should have been. We don't ask for a lot and expect to receive service as indicated. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Hi Brad, I have personally emailed you for more info on this. Obviously we take negative comments very seriously. The home was thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival, a longer job than normal due to a recent storm. Our housekeeping team have never received such a negative comment. You did email us a few times, and even mentioned 'You guys are the best" but did not mention any of these issues?. We would have quite happily come by to discuss and address, had we known. As you know we are a professional company and do everything we can to ensure an enjoable stay.

Lacking

The house was supposed to have 3 bedrooms and one of the rooms didnt have a closet. When I asked what the deal was they didnt give me an answer. One of the other rooms bathroom had no electricity whatsoever. When the maintenance person came out they didnt resolve and nothing was done. The house didnt have some basic supplies for the house like dish soap, dust pan and after reporting the tv remotes were not programmed they showed up 2 days later. The generator for when power goes out didnt work when we arrived so got to sit out in heat for 2 hours.

Hi David- thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am a tad confused as the house does have 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite! 1 on the first floor, 2 on the 2nd. One of the closets is locked off for owner items, but there is a large dresser. Dish soap is provided under the kitchen sink- both for hand washing and the dishwasher I have spoken to maintenance as this was very disappointing to hear. He did come over , program the remotes and got the electric fixed in the bathroom very quickly ( a breaker was tripped) . True, the generator went into an 'error' mode, luckily it was an easy one to troubleshoot. We apologize for these issues, but they were unforeseeable and we did respond quickly according to the maintenance work log

Imagine waking up every morning to an incredible Caribbean breeze, amazing views of mountains of Honduras and a picture perfect ocean view. When you stay at Coral View, you will get all this and more. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is located in the Lighthouse Estates area of West Bay, sitting right on the Iron Shore and has views of the mountains of the mainland on clear days. There is a pool and deck in the back area so you can enjoy the ocean views while swimming or laying out in the sun. The master bedroom is on the main floor with access to the pool deck. The 2 guest bedrooms are on the second floor with access to the walkway that surrounds the 2nd floor of this house. When you follow the walkway, you reach the 2nd floor patio with outdoor seating and incredible views. All bedrooms have a bathroom, so everyone in your group can enjoy their privacy. The lower level living area is another bonus area to relax and for extra sleeping area with a pull out couch. West Bay Beach is about a 15 minute walk from this house, or a short 3 minute drive. It is recommended that you rent a car while staying at this location so you can easily get around the area and the island.
