Both bedrooms have mountain view and access to our botanic garden where you can taste everything.

Ideal
The apartment is located on a small hill with a terrace which overlooks the sea and Turkey (see photo) on one side, and a grove of orange trees on another. To the rear of the apartment is another terrace planted with shrubs and herbs. Car parking is provided to the side of the property.
The apartment is clean and spacious, well laid out with two bedrooms each with large wardrobes and drawers, and comfortable beds. A sitting room with kitchenette offers the view of the sea through large windows. The apartment was cleaned throughout in the middle of the week we stayed, with fresh linen and towels provided.
The village in which the apartment is situated, Kalavarda, is very 'Greek', that is, quiet and pleasantly unspoilt by tourists. There are a couple of tavernas and a bar in the village square, about a five minute stroll away, all patronised by the villagers, who are, with the staff, faultlessly friendly and obliging. The beach is a ten minute walk away, with two larger restaurants. When we visited the beach was seldom occupied except by one or two of the locals, though later in the season I believe that kite-surfing is popular.
Could not fault it. The owners, Yvonne and her husband Stergos very welcoming and eager to make our stay most relaxing and pleasant. We will stay there again.

we are so happy that you enjoyed that much your stay at Melinas Apartments.It is our goal to see our guests happy as we feel honored that you chose us for your accomodation.It is true that Kalavarda beach is sedom occupied now but from middle of June more people will go there because of the Kite Station but it is so big that there is always lots of space for the swimmers also.We would love to see you again.

Gepflegtes einfaches Appartment mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern
Wir waren 10 Tage im Oktober hier und es ist HERRLICH! Yvonne ist eine sehr zuvorkommende Vermieterin die mit vielen Tipps und Infomationen zur Seite steht. Zur Begrüßung steht der hauseigene Wein, das „eignene“ Olivenöl und Marmelade parat. Die Tomaten zum Selbsternten sind mega lecker. Alle 4 Tage wird das Appartement saubergemacht und frische Handtücher hingelegt ..... was will man mehr :-)
Um die Gegend zu Erkunden ist ein Auto von Nöten.

Charming home from home
We stayed at Melinas apartments for 4 nights as part of an island hopping holiday. We were very taken with the excellent hospitality from Yvonne who was waiting to greet us on arrival. There was a super basket of local "treats" (olive oil, wine, biscuits, etc). The apartment is large enough for a family & is well equipped. Yvonne has put together a very interesting & informative guide to Rhodes island. There are quite a few excellent local tavernas within easy walking distance & the beach is close too. Would definitely recommend this area for those wanting a more authentic taste of Greece.

Staying here is like being with friends
We had a very relaxing week in this nice apartment with seaview!
The beach is not so far, you can reach it on foot. There is also a taverna, where you can eat fish, other nice tavernas with authentic greek food are in Kalavarda and for example Kamiros or Soroni.
The young owner family was very friendly and helpful. The apartement has all you need, very good wifi included and is very clean.
Kalavarda is a optimal place to explore the wonderful island with a rental car. We recommend the route from Soroni to Kolympia, if you want to go to the Eastcoast.
But we like the Westcoast, its not so touristic.
We would like to visit it again!

Tolle Ferienunterkunft mit Herz
Wir haben für eine Woche eine Ferienunterkunft in Melinas Apartment gebucht und es war die beste Entscheidung! Yvonne und ihre Familie sind wunderbare Hosts! Nicht nur, dass es an nichts fehlte (sogar Wickeltisch und Spielteppich), sondern als wir ankamen, hatte sie super lecker für uns gekocht! Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wäscheservice gibt es auch und einen kleinen Garten bei dem man sich wunderbar entspannen kann. Zum Abschluss würden wir sogar zum Grillen eingeladen. Also wer eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen und ganz viel Herz sucht, ist dort genau richtig!
PS: von der Lage auch top! Man kommt überall schnell hin von dort aus!

Well located in the middle of a small and quiet village, close to the airport and on the way to interesting historic places and nice beaches.The apartment is up on a little hill where you can have nice sea view and watch anytime how is the wind on the beach.There are nice places around to see with a bicycle or by hiking.Ola KiteSurf Station is at Kalavarda Beach where you can spend your day kiting or if you just want to swim Kalavarda Beach is big enough for everybody to enjoy it as it never gets crowded.The square of the village is just 7' walk from the apartment where you can find little tavernas,a mini market and a bar.There are plenty of food options like Sea food,Souvlaki or mezedes near by.
