What a setting!

Newly converted traditional stone house, on site of old mill. There are still parts of the aquaduct in the garden, you can see the old millstones and there is a passing stream, which when flowing creates little pools for cooling off!

All this, with a stunning mountain backdrop, private woodland, walking distance of a restaurant and total privacy!

Private garden and eating area, extensive grounds and private gated large pool.
WIFI .

The house itself is incredibly spacious and has been renovated with love and care. There are chestnut beamed ceilings throughout, traditional chestnut windows, character floors, and exposed stone walls, all mixed with the modern requirements of large comfy bedrooms, well equipped kitchens and new quality bathrooms.

This pristine house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with option to hire 2...

Great house, beautifully renovated, stunning views about 40 minutes from Lucca. The house is spacious, well stocked, clean and comfortable and easily accommodates 8 or more. The layout allows each bedroom its own space so everyone has extra privacy. The owners were lovely, friendly, helpful and available if you needed them. There are some lovely restaurants near, wonderful little hill...

This property was more than large enough for our group of 11 (5 children) and was in a very peaceful, rural location. The setting is very scenic and as long as you don't expect to be in the middle of a tourist resort it makes for a great holiday. The houses were well appointed and comfortable but most of us...

About the neighborhood
This is a wonderfully unique setting!
Located in the grounds of an old mill, some of which is still intact. There are still parts of the original aquaduct , and the house is set beside a stream which cascades into little pools (lovely for cooling off in!). Internally one can also see the original millstones.
There is loads of space for exploring, and walking and relaxing, and there is a feeling of pure peace, with just the sound of the stream cascading in the background.
Set high in the hills, overlooking countryside, and a mediaeval village below, and with the mountains in the background, this really is a heavenly location!
Whilst set in the depths of the countryside, amongst beech woods and chestnut trees, the site is located within wal
