Charming cottage, very clean, comfortable beds, good shower. Loved the fresh flowers in every room. Small front garden made parking difficult. No room for anything but car. Wouldn't want to sit in it - road very busy during day. Felt misled by advert for cottage in Ashford-in-the-water. Actually 3 miles away. No street lights or pavements meant could not walk...

Management response:

Thank you for your review, and I'm sorry if you felt misled by the advert. The advert does clearly state the cottage is in Wardlow and gives you the exact location on the map on the advert. Also in the section about the area it describes the neighbouring villages being Ashford in the Water and Bakewell. Kind regards Debbie

A lovely, well equipped cottage with a warm homely feel. The addition of fresh flowers in all the rooms and a delicious fruit cake were a much appreciated bonus. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks this cottage was the perfect base for all our holiday needs and we hope to return there sometime in the future

I stayed with my two children at the cottage for two weeks. Though a cute little cottage, it is on a B road that is really quite busy, and the cars go by extremely fast--it's posted at 40 but most people are going at least 60, and if you have the windows open, it's noisy. The parking is another concern;...

Management response:

Thank you for your comments and sorry you felt there were issues. Unfortunately the size of the bathroom and the B road outside are matters out of our control. We do pride ourselves with the cleanliness of the cottage so you were unfortunate to see so many spiders. Everything is stated clearly on the advert about the location, parking and...
