Apartamento Solar Albir Playa is a recently renovated and comfortably furnished ground floor corner apartment, ideally situated only 50m from Albir Beach. It is deep cleaned and disinfected to current covid 19 guidelines. Recent improvements mean that the apartment is wheelchair/rollator accessible. The bathroom has been revised, allowing more space, and grab rails have been installed in the shower area and by the toilet. It is registered for tourist rental with the Valencian Community. The community is small and quiet with mature gardens and an outdoor pool. The apartment is about 70 square metres, including terrace. There are 2 double bedrooms, which can each be made up with twin singles or a super king-size bed. We are usually able to provide a baby cot and high-chair on request. There is comfortable seating - 4 large reclining armchairs with pouffes in the pleasantly spacious lounge, which has IPTV and fibre-optic WiFi. A safe is provided for your passports or valuables. The dining room is on the front glazed entrance patio, 4 chairs and a table. The kitchen is well equipped with filtered drinking water, fridge-freezer, oven, vitro-ceramic 4 ring hob, washing machine, kettle, coffee filter machine, toaster, microwave, iron & ironing board. We provide basic kitchen consumables like kitchen towel& cleaning products; pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has a walk in shower (120x70cm), washbasin vanity unit and a toilet. We provide toller tools, soap& cleaning products, bath towels and pool/beach towels, and the option of bathrobes in cooler weather. The master bedroom has access through patio doors to the rear terrace which has afternoon/evening sun. A table, 4 chairs and a parasol are placed for you to enjoy the privacy of this space, which is surrounded by plants. Wheelchair access to the apartment is via ramps on the public path and onto the private terrace into the master bedroom. The front of the apartment looks over garden planters with flowers and shrubs to the hedge surrounding the community pool. We have recently improved the step access to the front of the apartment. We also provide 4 rolling sunloungers which may be used on the terrace, pool-side or beach. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: VT-459315-AMore

Excellent apartment which became the perfect base for a perfect vacation.

The apartment is perfectly situated in Albir close to the beach and a few minutes from town. It has everything you could need, even on a cold winters day. We loved it, and have booked for two more breaks.

About the neighborhood
Apartamento Solar Playa is seconds away from our lovely Mediterranean bay, the 'promenade of stars' busy with people strolling enjoying the views - it also has a cycle lane; you can laze in the community grounds, or on a lounger on the beach. There's a childrens' play area on the beach & a lifeguard in the season. you are moments from a lovely variety of restaurants and bars, and close to a handy supermarket which opens from 08;00 to 02;00, providing fresh bread and snacks too! All the attractions of Benidorm are a 10 minute taxi ride away, or take the No10 bus, its only 50 metres from the apartment...Albir is a resort with all amenities, there are some great promotional tourist videos available if you search...
Getting around
a car is not necessary, but gives you independence to see sights further away, like the Algar Falls at Callosa d'en Saria, (20km) Guadalest (20km) or even a day trip to Valencia (145km) (cuidad de artes y ciencias). The apartment is only 50m from the local no10 bus, which goes between Benidorm and Altea, and is near the local single track tram-train which runs between Benidorm, Calpe and Denia. There is a bicycle hire point a few metres away, and hire shops close by.
