Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, The Mews is the idyllic base from which to explore the beautiful area. Mews Cottage is set away from the main street down a quiet cul-de-sac, through a narrow archway in the market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and historically the most northern of the Yorkshire Dales. Middleton-in-Teesdale has pubs that serve food, shops and tea rooms, giving you plenty to keep you occupied. The Pennine Way passes through the village and half an hour’s brisk walk brings you to Low Force, the first of a series of spectacular waterfalls in the area.
