Just beautiful
Absolutely beautiful cottage, very tranquil beautifully clean and more than adequately equipped. Lovely surroundings and easy access to places to visit. Would happily stay here again. Our host Imogen was a delight with tips on where to visit and places to eat. Flowers in the cottage and a few welcome treats.

Fantastic, idyllic location
What a gem Pagecroft Cottage is! Truly the best of both worlds: use it as a launching point to visit Hexham Abbey and points along Hadrian’s Wall or just enjoy being in the country with life moving at a slower pace. Supplies are readily available from your shop of choice in Hexham (a short drive away) but the cottage is just far enough out on a quiet valley to forget your cares and relax. The cottage itself is roomy and cosy with a beautiful country kitchen. We were comfortable and happy for our whole stay!

Just got back from a wonderful mini break at Pagecroft cottage, we couldn't have found a more tranquil and peaceful place to stay, the scenery is magnificent and the cottage itself is so delightful, a short drive into Haydon Bridge to all the local amenities and 5 minutes from A69 and all major routes, finally your host Imogen is wonderful, welcomed us with tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits couldn't have been any better, miss it already

Beautiful traditional cottage in the countryside
We had a wonderful stay at Pagecroft. The cottage is beautiful and traditionally furnished. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Scenery is stunning and location perfect for accessing much of Northumberland.

Perfect
A peaceful, idyllic location. We enjoyed beautiful weather during our stay and explored the area. The cottage is spotlessly clean, and delightfully furnished. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Attention to detail first class. We appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, milk and luxury biscuits on our arrival. It was great fun to watch the antics of the numerous birds on the feeders from the kitchen window. We loved our stay….what more can I say.

About the neighborhood
Haydon Bridge is a pretty village on the River Tyne, situated almost exactly halfway between Newcastle upon Tyne and Carlisle. It has good local amenities including a Co-op, Post Office, newsagent, pharmacy, coffee house, fish and chip shop, 3 pubs and an excellent local butcher. Close by are Hadrian's Wall, Haydon Old Church, Langley Castle and the historical market town of Hexham with its Abbey and pretty winding streets. Within easy driving distance are Newcastle upon Tyne, Carlisle, Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water and Forest Park, the picturesque North Pennines (AONB) and the beautiful Northumberland coastline.
