This was our second time staying in this apartment. It is very spacious with air conditioning in every bedroom and also the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with easy to use washing machine, dishwasher and oven. There's enough cutlery and crockery for double the maximum capacity of the apartment. The owner is very quick to respond to any queries and clearly wants to ensure that any visitors enjoy their stay.

Just returned from a perfect holiday at Estrela, We have been coming to the same resort for the last 10 years and everything as always was perfect, The booking agents were efficient and the owner of the apartment was especially helpful, Would, recommend it to anybody.

The staff at this place are unaccommodating and so unfriendly-just too corporate and inconsistent with their professionalism. They make people check out at 10 am and check in at 3 pm-when we asked if we could have a late checkout they refused to accommodate at all and stated that the people coming in after us are coming in early for an early check in and when we tried to check in one hour early they said they couldn’t accommodate that/ we couldn’t even have a one hour late check out at all claiming they needed 5 hours to clean the apartment we stayed in which was ridiculous! Such an unfriendly staff.

Very pleasant apartment with great facilities, AC, balconies in every room, coffee machine with some complimentary pods and toiletries. Some very nice touches, cards, books made you feel welcomed. The pools are nice and there's a garage. They have a heated pool and Jacuzzi that are good too but unfortunately to use them you have to leave the facilities and go via reception where they will ask you to come with a top on all the time which is a bit annoying. The communication with the hotel reception staff was a bit poor, I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the way the checkout was handled which was stressful. I thought that checkout was around midday and booking said flexible but was at 10am and this wasnt informed.. reception blocked the keys and rang shortly after that being very pushy to get us out asap, we had just got back from pool and still had to shower the kids and finish packing and they kept ringing, they said that they were people waiting to check in which we later didnt see at the reception and when I asked what was the checkin time they said 4pm so it seemed a lie but who knows... we had to rush to leave and somehow spoiled the experience a bit.

We visited Estrela da Luz in October. We had previously stayed in the sister site, Baia da Luz, which is the other side of the resort. Our expectations were very high and we were not disappointed. We had a three bedroomed apartment. It was equipped to the highest standard with a dishwasher, washing machine, fully fitted kitchen, fridge freezer, comfortable furniture and top quality bathrooms. There is wi-fi throughout the site and an electronic door entry system. There is an indoor pool and two outdoors. In addition, there is a gym, spa bath and sauna. The site is beautifully landscaped and litter free. We stayed for ten days and the apartment was serviced three times. I have no complaints about the accommodation at all. It is kept the highest standard. I have one or two very minor issues. The area around the indoor pool needs to be cleaned more frequently, particularly the area near the windows. Staff should not use the indoor pool as a short cut to the reception area, wearing dirty shoes where people walk bare footed. However, don't let these things put you off. The accommodation is lovely and you will have a fabulous times. It is a five minute walk to the two nearby supermarkets. They are good, but really expensive. If you are a Brit I would suggest freezing some packs of bacon and stuffing them in your luggage at the last minute! (It's not illegal to do this, by the way. You won't have a problem at Customs). Go ahead and book Estrella da Luz.. It's fabulous!

Great apartment and set up in general. Pools were great and one for adults only if that's what you want. Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Genial el apartamento, tiene todo lo que le puedas pedir, al igual que las instalaciones. Hemos estado muy cómodos y hemos disfrutado mucho gracias también a las personas que trabajaban allí ya que en la recepción nos recibieron muy bien y nos han ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado y de forma muy agradable. Muy recomendable!! Ojalá siguiéramos allí...jjj

Spacious clean well equipped apartment with balconies off most rooms. Beautiful area, mainly British folk there, great restaurants, gorgeous beach. Garage for our rental car was great. Only slight problem we had was with the wifi but it didn't spoil an amazing holiday for us. Also a pool area only for adults which was lovely and peaceful, though the family pool area is very close by.
