Lovely family holiday at a beautiful villa
We had a wonderful family holiday as a family of 6 in this beautiful villa for one week! 3x 30 year olds, 1x 70 year old, 1x 7 year old, 1x 2 year old.
+ We booked through Think Villa which I found incredibly accessible and user friendly. I believe you can also book via Booking, AirBnB and direct.
+ The villa itself was very clean beautiful and very well decorated. Overall it was very smart and a luxurious feeling to it.
+The living area was the perfect size for us with a well equipped kitchen good size seating and a smart TV
+ There were two dining areas- inside and out both of which we used. The outside area has a BBQ and a pizza oven. We didn't use them - only because we were being lazy and ordered in - but they would otherwise be great for family dinners.
+ Bedrooms were great and good sizes. There were three bathrooms in total. Two bedrooms were an ensuite (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs).
+ Swimming pool was good and I especially liked the fact it was cleaned in a much more natural way.
+ The best thing for us was the hospitality of the host Maria! When we did need things eg new batteries for the remote, restaurant recommendations, Maria responded straight away and brought whatever we needed without delay. She also went out of her way - to do the midweek clean at a time that suited us and to even get us a surprise birthday cake for my daughter from Zante town and to bring it to us in secret the night before her birthday! The cake was beautiful!
+ The general location is quiet and peaceful with views of the mountain top and of the sea from the upstairs balcony - all very tranquil.
One thing to note is the villa is high up the mountain and to access it you have to drive up the mountainous roads. We did it without issue in an 8 seater minibus, but it is unlikely to be good for unconfident or nervous drivers or those that do not like driving at heights.
In terms of amenities for my toddler - we had what we needed ie cot and highchair. Usual considerations apply - my toddler liked to open all the cupboards and you have to accompany them on the stairs and supervise them around the pool etc. Usual mum and dad life with a two year old!
Overall, we would love to return! ❤️

Great villa and host!. Highly recommended.
Nice spot. Everybody enjoyed the holiday and the villa. The host was so helpful in looking after some details for my family when I had to drop out at the last minute - many thanks.

By air: There are daily scheduled flights from Athens International Airport to "Dionysios Solomos" Zakynthos Airport. Charter flights from most European destinations arrive from April to November to the airport of the island.
By Sea: Zakynthos Island is regularly connected by ferry with the west side of Peloponnese and more specifically with the port of Kyllini. More ferry connections include Kefalonia and then Ithaca and Patras.
