Entering this villa you will experience the breath-taking view overlooking the pool area, the village, the White Mountains and the blue sea. Sliding doors leads you out to a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evenings. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the ground floor. All the bedrooms has its own en suite bathrooms with bathtub. Satellite TV in all bedrooms. On the ground floor, it is a large living area with fireplace and an open and spacious kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances and a large dining table with ample room for eight persons. From the kitchen, you have access to an intimate backyard/garden with barbecue and a nice dining area. The tiled pool area with sunbeds, umbrella and sitting areas where you can enjoy the swimming in the pool (45 m2), is perfectly incorporated with the house. In the basement, you will find a well-equipped gym and another big bathroom with hamam (steam bath). A private little “wellness center”, perfect for recreation! Må igjen bare få si at Villa Karga og Almyrida er et fantastisk sted å feriere på. Vi har vært her 3 år på rad og de leverer hver gang. Vi kommer tilbake igjen neste år. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Mvh Lars, Trude, Øystein, Turid, Olav, Eidi, Helge, Oxana og Bill.

Vi (7 voksne personer) leide denne lekre villaen en uke i september, og kan anbefale den på det varmeste. Villaen var en estetisk perle hvor alt var gjennomtenkt og funksjonelt. Beliggenheten var perfekt, med kort vei ned til den lille sjarmerende byen, Almyrida, med nydelig strand og hyggelige tavernaer. Servicen fra utleier var super, lett å få tak i på mail. Godt utgangspunkt for vandreturer i omegnen (om det ikke er for varmt 🙂) Vi kommer gjerne igjen. Hilse syv fornøyde gjester.

Strålende!
Vi var en gruppe på 8 personer som fikk glede av en uke på Villa Karga, vi hadde en helt fantastisk uke. Dette er svært luksuriøs Villa med alle fasiliteter. Kort vei til strand, butikker og restauranter. Utleier og vertskapet er veldig proffe og særdeles hyggelige. Spesielt takk til Roula som var helt enestående og fulgte opp på alt vi lurte på. Vi kommer tilbake neste år. Hilsen Lars, Trude, Øystein, Turid, Helge, Oxana, Olav og Bill.

Short way to beach and grocery. Amazing pool with 26-30 degrees. Great service from owner and local contact-person.

Wonderful Wonderful Week
With all the difficulties in overseas travel over the last 18 months, we could not have been happier to land at Villa Karga for our family holiday. The Villa is spacious, well laid out, immaculately clean and is perfectly positioned for watching the sunset and providing easy access to Almyrida town for both dining out and shopping. Our three children (17, 19 & 20) loved the villa, bedrooms, pool, gym & steam room. From the moment we were shown round by Roula on arrival we knew we would have a great time. This was our first visit to Crete and whilst we did not travel round much (We had all we needed at the Villa and in Almyrida) we did love our trip into Chania old town and harbour. Thanks for sharing your amazing Villa.

L’endroit où il faut loué en crête Magnifique !!!
La villa karga est un joyau avec des propriétaires et une intendante au top. Nous étions 9 est avons était reçu comme des rois par roula l’intendante. Il y’a 2 villas une petite pour 4 est une très grande pour 8/9 Elle dispose de tous le nécessaire et même plus salle de sport hammam toute les pièces climatisées une piscine avec pataugeoire nos enfants se sont régalés. Des vues à couper le souffle mer et montagne des couchers de soleil extraordinaires. On peut descendre à la plage d’almyrida à pied ou vous attends une plage de sable turquoise digne des Caraïbes. Un bonne emplacement entre la Chanée et Réthymnon. Nous avons passé une semaine au top dans la villa karga A REFAIRE MERCI

Stunning Contemporary Villa
just returned from a weeks stay in the Villa Karga, which certainly offers the wow factor in size, space, decor and impeccable cleanliness. We stayed as 2 couples and had a ball and more than enough space for 8 adults all with large bedrooms and ensuites. I dealt direct with the owner Maja, who's customer service has been, professional, friendly and very helpful. Special thanks for Roula who was incredibly helpful and introduced us to the villa on arrival. The villa has lots of outside space and separate dining BBQ area. Sea view and sunset are stunning. Great location too, although on a hill - it is only 5 mins to almyrida and 10-15 to the village of Plaka on foot. Great stay, amazing villa and one of the best we have stayed in and greta service. We certainly hope to return.

Simply imcredible
Simply incredible villa in every way. From planning to leaving, we couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect location, beautiful attention to detail in the villa, brilliant host Roula ensured every element of our holiday was perfect. We were two families with teenagers. Lots of space. High spec facilities with every detail considered (even toiletries & coffee pods!). Stunning pool, gym and steam room. U have the luxury and privacy of a top end hotel, but the space & flexibility of a brilliantly designed villa. Also U don’t need a car. Incredible sunsets. Beach, shops & endless tavernas only 5 mins walk. Top, top spec. Highly recommend.

Fantastisk luksusvilla med perfekt beliggenhet i koselige Almyrida!
Vi var fire par som leide villa Karga i juni. Huset er stort, luksuriøst og stilfullt innredet og ligger perfekt til bare en kort spasertur fra Almyrida sentrum. Her har de tenkt på absolutt alt og huset alle tenkelige fasiliteter. Det er fire romslige soverom og alle har egne bad. Huset har eget treningsrom og hamam, en nydelig innredet stue og godt utstyrt kjøkken med høyt under taket. Eiendommen har skjermet spiseplass med grillmuligheter på baksiden, og bl.a flott loungeområdet på fremsiden. Huset ligger på en høyde med flott utsikt over Almyrida og havet. Det private bassengområde er godt utstyrt med deilige solsenger. Villa Karga oser luksus og kan anbefales på det varmeste. Dersom du ønsker transort så blir du hentet på flyplassen og kjørt til huset hvor du blir tatt imot av en kjempehyggelig vertinne. Vertskapet er svært behjelpelig med både tips og hjelp til booking av utflukter, båtturer og restauranter i Almyrida og nærliggende landsbyer. Flere av restaurantene tilbyr taceaway og tilkjøring av både lunsj og middag. Vi bestilte privat kokk og servitør hjemme i huset en kveld. Vi kom bokstavlig talt til dekket bord med hvit duk og blir vartet med mat og vin gjennom hele måltidet. Det var en helt fantastisk opplevelse anbefales på det varmeste. Vi hadde en fantastisk uke på Villa Karga og kommer veldig gjerne tilbake hit!

Enestående villa
Vi hadde en fantastisk uke med gode venner på Villa Karga. Huset stod til alle forventninger og mer enn det. Flotte rom og nydelige bad på alle rommene. Sengene var veldig gode og madrassene hadde høy standard som på et femstjerners hotell. Det var god plass og med to etasjers takhøyde i stue og kjøkken ga det en stor romfølelse. Med stort og deilig oppvarmet basseng med tilhørende solsenger var dagene perfekt for avslappende gode dager under den Greske solen. En deilig loungegruppe under tak ved bassenget var det deilig å trekke inn i skyggen når vi spiste lunch og nøt noen glass prosecco... Det var også pent beplantet som ga en fin ramme rundt omgivelsene. Vi fikk en profersjonell mottagelse da vi ankom huset. Absolutt alt var på stell, rent i hver krik og krok. Dette var et Luksuriøst nytt og moderne hus med alle fasiliteter. Huset lå høyt og fint med fantastisk utsikt utover havet. Det var kort vei ned en bakke, så var vi rett på strandpromenaden med mange hyggelige restauranter. Her var det god service og god mat. En kveld leide vi inn en kokk og servitør som lagde en deilig tre retters middag og serverte oss i huset. Det kan anbefales å bestille. En annen kveld tok vi taxi til Vamos, en liten landsby ca 20 minutter unna, hvor vi spiste og drakk lokal mat med mange forskjellige retter på Parasia Taverna. Det var rikelige porsjoner og utsøkt mat. Dette var en av høydepunktene på turen... Villa Karga er et eksklusivt hus med høy standard og kvalitet, så hit kommer vi tilbake!

About the neighborhood
The villa is located in a nice neighbourhood. The area is well suited for hiking, with many footpaths leading to surrounding villages. Almyrida is an excellent hub for exploring the beautiful district of Apokoronas on foot, bicycle or by car, and visiting the myriad of delightful coastal and mountain villages. Although Almyrida has experienced some expansion in recent years, it has managed to maintain the distinct nature and relaxed atmosphere of a typical Greek village. The beach in Almyrida has been awarded the Blue Flag by the EU for its cleanliness. The sandy beaches are child-friendly, sloping gently to provide long shallows into the azure sea. It is a wonderful site for a delightful day at the beach for young and old alike.
Getting around
The villa is located in the beautiful village of Almyrida. It is only 350 meters walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach, restaurants, taverns and shops in the center of town. If you want to rent a car to get around, there are car rental companies in the village where you can rent a car for the whole stay or just for a few days. If you want to rent a car in the high season, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. There is a good local taxi service based in Almyrida.

The nearest airport to fly to is Chania Airport, with many daily domestic flights from Athens and several flights from European airports. Chania airport is 32 km from the villa, approx. 40 minutes drive. Flying into Heraklion airport is another option. Heraklion is 127 km from the villa and approx. 2 hour drive.
