Purple Homestay is located 10 minutes outside of Coron Town Proper in a more local environment giving our guests a wonderful insight and experience of the local life. The rooms are all clean and tidy and equipped with electic fans and comfortable beds. There is a beautiful spacious kitchen that can be used to cook great meals and in addition there is a BBQ which can be used as well. The common area is beautifully equipped with native furniture and allows you to have restful time after your adventures. Our on-site staff will be available during day time to help you with questions and can also help with organizing your outings like island hopping, city tours or hike up mount Tapyas. Tropical hilltop oasis
Purple homestay is a hidden gem in a tropical hilltop oasis ~"a home away from home.."
Traveling solo, I was blessed by the genuine care and valuable advice prior and during my stay in Coron as Janice, the owner, kept in communication with me throughout and even went above and beyond to reassure my safety in fulfilling my vacation wishes for a more local experience by help coordinating time with her trusted friend, Judy, who was very knowledgeable, considerate,and kind and who took very good care of me, brought me to an amazing fishing village where I connected to a few locals and was immersed in their, culture, life, activities and livelihood.
My time at her homestay was serene and picturesque as the dining and seating area overlooks Coron town with a beautiful backdrop of the famous mount Tapyas. The open spaces to the outdoors plus native material incorporated in some areas of the home and the tropical plants and wildlife life such as the birds, butterflies, etc also enhanced the natural ambience.
Lynne, Neng and Sole, who made time for me, were such angels. They treated me with sincere care and were very attentive. I enjoyed conversing with them like family.
I'd highly recommend Purple homestay for those who are looking for an affordable, safe, clean and peaceful place to stay with fresher air and breezes since it is on a hill and is a short distance away from the congested town.

About the neighborhood
Purple Homestay is embedded in the native village just a few minutes from the center of Coron Town Proper. With this, it gives our guests an impression on life in the philippines and a wonderful view over Coron bay. We have a lot of trees on the property which adds a tropical flair.
Getting around
To get around Coron, we recommend to use tricycles which is very convenient and is affordable. In case of longer trips, we can organize a van, just talk to our staff.

How to get there
From the Airport (Busuanga): We can organize a van which will pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to the homestay (PHP 150 per person)
From the Ferry Port (Coron): We recommend taking a tricycle to the homestay wich will take you about 3-5min. You can also walk as the homestay is not far away.
