Situated in a very peaceful location amidst idyllic countryside. Previously a farm cottage, built around 1880/1890 it has been renovated to a high standard but in keeping with its original character. It has its own garden with views westward to the Argyll peninsula and south to Ailsa Craig and beyond.

Attractive lounge with open fire.
Designer kitchen/dining room.
Beautiful tiled bathroom with shower above bath.
All electric plus open fire.
Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer,
Dishwasher, Microwave, Colour TV & Video.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
Bed linen provided.

We arrived on the Thursday & Christine was there to meet us. Unfortunately there was no electricity but that was not her fault. When we did get into the cottage we found it clean & comfortable & the fact that we had our two dogs...More

Lovely peaceful place.Beautiful nearby beach, great for dog walking and so very tranquil.Had a fire every night , made it very cosy.

How to get there
Getting to Arran
Arran is accessible all year by ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick,
and in summer by an additional ferry from Claonaig on Kintyre to Lochranza.
A reduced service runs from Tarbert to Lochranza in winter.

Getting to Shannochie
From Brodick Pier, head south for approximately 15 miles. You will pass through the villages of Lamlash and Whiting Bay then come to a sign for Kildonan - keep right on the inland road (the left turn is the low road through Kildonan village). Continue on for another 3 miles. There is a sign on the left at Shannochie roadend. Just turn in and you are at Barnstable and Eryb. Kilbride Cottage sits on the right hand side approx. 1/4 mile further on., down the main road.
