Our vacation rental (47qm) is a perfect place for you to enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment and gives you every comfort. It is a restful oasis located in a small charming village with no road noise and mountain views. The grounds are nestled in the rural Oaxaca valley near Santa Maria del Tule with its famous tree. It is a great place for everything this area has to offer: Day trips to the world heritage site Oaxaca city, the colorful Sunday market in Tlacolula. Historic sites nearby Mitla, Yagul, Monte Alban are to be explored. Stunning sunsets and hammocks under the big old tree. Wander to the beautiful mountains. North, there are lovely hiking trails. The place is 1.5 mile away from the famous Tule tree; 10 miles to Oaxaca City, located in the center of the tourist attractions. Nearby archaeological sites: Yagul, Mitla, Monte Alban; handicraft villages; terrific Sunday market in Tlacolula, colonial Oaxaca City within 20 minutes ride. Frequently cheap transportation. Friendly small store in the next block. Daily delifery of tortillas and sweet bread; two times a week fresh fruit and vegetables. Within walking distance daily market, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, laundries, ATM-maschine.
Getting around
Bus and shared taxi in walking distance. Bus ride 8 Pesos, shared taxi called taxi collectivo costs 11 Pesos.

The ADO first class bus station is 8 miles away, the international airport Oaxaca Xoxocotlán is 15 miles away.
How to get there
From and to the 1Class Bus station ADO in Oaxaca city
Option 1) With the frequently public transport
Take the bus with destination to CUARTELES to the shopping center MACROPLAZA (Walmart). The bus stop is next to the ADO bus-station on the same side on the Carretera International. The cost is 7 Pesos and takes around 15 minutes. From MACROPLAZA use the (purple) bus to TULE / RETIRO. The price is 8 Pesos, takes around 15 minutes. Bus stop in front of MACROPLAZA on the same side.
Also possible take a shared taxi, called TAXI COLLECTIVO, they are white and red and go to different destinations. It has to be written: TULE/RETIRO. The price is 11 Pesos and they can store your things in the back. We pick you up in Tule (free service), so you have not to walk with the luggage and the groceries. We can meet us at the traffic light, it is the only one in Tule and next to the park with the famous Tule tree.
