The Ariege is also well know for its golf courses and fishing and both are within easy reach. It is also a great place for enjoying nature on foot or by bike or swimming at one of the nearby lakes. You may choose to take a day trip to the Mediterranean beaches - 1.5 hours' drive away - or the local ski resort for mountain biking and hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter - under one hour away. There is one other gite on site and the two can be rented together to sleep up to 12 people - please see the listing for Gite Vue des Montagnes.More
