Old Chapel is a pretty and cosy holiday cottage, with open plan living area, with full amenities. A modern bathroom with double size shower is off the bedroom. The vaulted beamed ceilings give the property real character, ideally placed for touring The Lake District, Hadrian Wall, Northumberland, North Pennines National Park. Close to Historic Carlisle and the boarders of Dumfries and Galloway. Many local walks, including RSPB Nature Walks, Gelt Woods and Talkin Tarn on your doorstep.
Hayton is a pretty Cumberland stone village, with a friendly community and a fabulous welcoming Pub, with real ales and good food.
Hayton is located just off the A69 close to the market town of Brampton with a Church with William Morris stained glass windows.

We have put together a brochure which is in Old Chapel for your use, explaining things to do and where to eat in the area, Hayton has a very friendly pub that serves great food Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is an Ordnance Survey Map for your use, but ask that you leave it for other guests use. We are available by phone if you need to ask us anything while you are staying at Old Chapel.

About the neighborhood
Hayton is a very lovely Cumbrian Stone Village,, very quiet, quaint, and friendly, if you need to ask anyone anything people are always happy to help. Hayton as an area is close to Carlisle Town. It's on the borders of Northumberland for those that fancy a drive out to Bamburgh Beach, Seahouses, Alnwick. Or take a short drive to the beautiful Lake District. There are many nice places to eat. Fantails, The Stone Inn, The Queens at Warwick on Eden. Talkin Tarn is only 4miles from Hayton, with a big Lake to walk round with a little cafe. There is so much to do just on your doorstep.
For the Golfers amount you you have a choice of about 4-5 Carlisle, Brampton, Alston, Warwick on Eden. There are also a lot around the Dumfries and Galloway area.
