The Hay Barn is set on a quiet road in open, arable farmland. It has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen that are light and airy, giving a very upmarket feel.
There are three bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests. Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious and has generous wardrobe space, a full length mirror and a hairdryer. The en - suite has a bath with shower above
On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one of which can be set up as a twin or king size.. They have full length mirrors, drawers, hanging space and en-suites with shower cuticles. Two additional guests can sleep on the double sized sofa bed. (Additional fee applicable for bedding, linen, towels.)

malden is underrated. The sea lock is lovely for lunch and a stroll while looking out to sea. The quay side is very interesting with it's large, old fashioned sailing boats and the park is great for children. We would happily of stayed in though. The barn is beautiful.

We had a lovely few days at the Hay Barn at Jepcrack's. The welcome and care we received from Carmel and Jason was excellent and the Barn had everything we needed during our stay. PRICES ARE FOR 6 GUESTS. ADDITIONAL GUESTS £45 for three nights per guest or £60 per week - please see pricing chart. Bank Holiday Mondays are weekend prices. Children under 1.5 yrs using a travel cot are not included in the rental numbers.

Rental rates are inclusive of 20% VAT.

Up to two medium sized, well behaved dogs welcome. £5 per dog per day.

There is free wi-fi for emails and internet browsing.

A large basket of logs and kindling supplied for the log burner. Additional large bags of wood and kindling available at cost. (£7 winter 2015). Heating is through oil central heating and the log burning stove.

Electric is payable by meter cards which can be purchased on arrival. Meter cards avoid the need to feed coins to the meter. We have found this to be a fairer way to rent as many guests use the barns as a base and use minimal heating / electricity during the day.
