The Mulberry is a cosy flat, which is part of a Villetta. The place is surrounded by a garden with trees, a meadow, terraces with view on the Valley of the Temples, a gazebo and an open-air porch. Some areas can be shared , others are private and exclusively for your flat. Despite its position, on the main road to San Leone ( Agrigento's seaside resort ) and to the archeological area of the Greek Temples, it enjoys a secluded position, the perfect place where to relax and get the best of your holiday. Very near ( just a short walk ) supermarkets, bakers, greegrocers etc... where you can get genuine ingredients for a tasty, healthy and cheap Mediterranean meal at your own home. The bus stop is just aound the corner ( 10 meters from the entrance ); you can walk, have a ride with our free bikes to the gorgeous waterfront, or shortly drive to the other tourist attractions: Agrigento with the picturesque Atenea Street, the Cathedral, the Rabato ( the old Arabic neighborhood ) , Pirandello's Birthplace, Porto Empedocle ( Agrigento's old marina ), Scala dei Turchi with its chalky cliffs, Eraclea Minoa, Punta Bianca, Punta Piccola, Sciacca, etc.... Other main roads to Palermo, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Catania are very very close.

About the neighborhood
Agrigento is on the south-west coast of Sicily. It has a stunning position where you can enjoy the view of the valley of the Temples and the Mediterranean Sea. There are lots of tourist attractions in the town and in the near areas: Porto Empedocle, Eraclea Minoa, Sciacca. At two hour drive you can also visit Palermo, Catania, Caltagirone, Piazza Arnerina .... The landscape is characterized by the sea with so many beaches ( mainly sandy beaches ), some of them very secluded and preserved where you can enjoy a swim and appreciate the surrounding nature. The flat is provided with tourist guides and we will inform you about the best things to see. Food is genuine. There are loads of restaurants, trattorie and pizzerie where you can eat without spending a lot money.

How to get there
You can reach The Mulberry easily from all directions. From any airport you come, just follow the sign roads to : 1) Agrigento, 2) go downhill to San Leone, 3) When you leave the Valley berore arriving in San Leone, the Mulberry is the first detached house on the left. But don't worry , give me a call and I'll pick you up wherever you are!
