Come and stay with us in our historic colonial Sri Lankan home! My home is very near to lots of surf points,beautiful beaches.Just 5 minutes walk to Midigama surf point and Devil's Rock surf point for the intermediate and advanced surfers,however the beginners beach Weligama and Kabalana also just 10 minutes away. Our location is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the time specially because of the quiet jungle surroundings and the beautiful river.

I felt like home.Had a great time in Samu's Home
Samu's home is colonial villa just 5 minute walk from the main road. I stayed here for 20 days. The hosts they are very friendly and helpful and i felt like home here. I strongly suggest Samu's home for anyone. I am a surfer and this place is one of the best place to stay because it's very near to lot of beach breaks.from here it's 15 minute walk to Lazy left and Lazy right in Midigama. And also i enjoyed a lot here because of the quiet surroundings and the jungle setting. It's away from the busy and noisy streets yet very closer to all the shops and to the main road.

About the neighborhood
Our beautiful home is one of the Antique houses in the area that survived the Tsunami. The Antique clay roof tiles help to keep the rooms cool even during hot summer days. Besides a well equipped indoor kitchen including a fridge to store your groceries, we own a traditional clay outdoor kitchen outside. Here Samudra is happy to share Sri Lankan cooking skills. Whether you want to learn how to make Roti, Dosa or Dhal she will make sure to bring you onto a good level to bring a piece of vacation back home.The big garden with flowers and herbs can be used to relax during the day when the sun is usually too hot to spent time outside or learn about plants and local ingredients. From here a short walk brings you to the river where you can watch
Getting around
1.From the airport take a taxi to Ahangama, Goviyapana. This journey will take around 3 hours from the airport to Samu's Home.
2.From the airport take a bus to Colombo fort railway station. From railway station take a train to Ahangama railway station. And then take a tuk tuk to Goviyapana. For this journey it will take around 5 hours from the airport to Samu's Home.( Depend on train schedule. You can search it on Google)
