Lovely to wake up each morning and look up into the branches of an old oak tree and then look out to the chicken coop and the hens pottering around - very relaxing and despite being compact the place has everything needed for a few...More

We grew fond of this little wooden cottage and enjoyed our stay,visiting National Trust properties nearby,including Scotney Castle,Bateman's,Ightem Mote,and Sissinghurst. So glad you enjoyed your holiday. We have discovered the issue with the wi-fi which was due to a loose wire. We have now mended and its all working!

It was very well equipped, and we loved watching the squirrels in the trees from our beds, and hearing the owls hoot at night. There is a lovely peaceful little garden with a pond to sit by. Would definitely like to go again.

All of which provide stunning walks and other leisure activities. With all of this literally on your door step there is no need to go far, however for those wishing to tour and explore further afield they will not be disappointed. The famous Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only 7 miles away offering excellent shopping and tourist attractions situated within the lovely Pantiles.
How to get there
We are situated 20 minutes from Tunbridge Wells on the outskirts of a small village called Lamberhurst. Lamberhurst is directly off the A21 which can be easily accessed from both the M20 and M25. Gatwick airport is a convenient 45 minutes drive and Heathrow airport only one and a half hours. If you are arriving by train the nearest station is Paddock Wood which has main line connections to London Charring Cross within the hour. The nearest Ferry can be found in Dover which is only one hour away. Euro Tunnel in Folkstone also only one hour.
