About the neighborhood
Rothbury provides an ideal base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. It's a magical place filled with ancient castles, golden sandy beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland and picturesque towns and villages. You'll also discover wonderful food, enjoy local festivals and be able to explore sites of international significance like Hadrian's Wall and experience its new interpretation centre called 'The Sill'. The National Trust's Cragside, home of the Victorian inventor Lord Armstrong, is nearby and a 'must see' attraction.

For those that enjoy a more active approach there's an abundance of walking routes (as well as guided walks), cycling routes and watersport opportunities.
