This delighful holiday home is located on the upper floor of a two storey country house set in its own extensive grounds. The house is situated in a quiet position below the Puig Campana mountain which dominates the medieval village of Finestrat. It's only a 5-10 minutes walk up to the village itself, where you'll find a choice of bars and restaurants, as well as a small selection of local shops. Everything we'd hoped for - and lots more besides. Lovely property in a great location. With loads of room, lots of outside space and a spotless pool and pool area. Great barbecue area and lovely bar next to the pool. Just 10 or 15 minutes away from the beaches of Cala, Poniente and Vila Joiyosa, and quick and easy access...

A newly refurbished holiday home in an idyllic location, with wonderful views, excellent access to all local attractions and good amenities just a few hundred meters away in the village. Plenty of home from home touches such as welcome pack of groceries and wine, as well as toiletries, fresh towels and bed linen. The apartment is spacious and bright with dual aspect ceiling to floor windows in the main living room, with fantastic views across the countryside. The owner lives on site and is happy to help make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The place is very pet friendly and there are plenty of local walks.

About the neighborhood
The village of Finestrat dates back 1500 years and stands on the site of a Moorish castle. The village literally hangs on the side of the mountain, which is the famous Puig Campana, the highest peak in the region. The architecture reflects this Moorish influence, with typical narrow winding streets opening out to small square and main streets. There is a magnificent viewpoint at the top of the village, situated in a small and verdant park, where you can sit in the shade and enjoy magnificent views across the whole region. the area is becoming very pòpular with cyclists,mountain climbers and hill walkers...with lots of different options to choose.........
there are also some nice restaurants and bars to chillax in close by...

Ferry: Puerto De Alicante: 28.0 mi
The closest and most convenient airport is Alicante which is approximately 40 KM away, around 40 minutes drive along the excellent AP-7 motorway (toll road). It is recommended that you hire a car for your stay - although it is not absolutely essential, it does make days out much more convenient and all the local attractions in the area more accessible. All the major car hire firms are represented at Alicante Airport, so there is plenty of choice - to check rates, you may want to use a comparison website like www.carjet.com. Alternatively you can book transfers to and from the aiport with one of the many private aiport transfer companies who operate in the area. If you need any advice on local travel arrangements, please just let me know.
