A wonderful retreat
We have just returned from a wonderful week of relaxation, peace and tranquillity from a cottage that has everything that you can ever need. To relax in front of a nice coal fire with a bottle of red wine whilst the weather outside was cold wet and windy , it was so heart warming inside to chill out insuch a wonderful warm ambience . The cottage had everything and it was also nice that the owners called around to check that everything was fine and that we had everything we need. We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone that is looking for a relaxing break no matter what time of the year.

Relaxing holiday in a cosy cottage.
This cottage was lovely! Our 2 year old loved the garden, the cows opposite and being able to watch some kids DVDs that were there. We loved the quietness, the welcome pack, the coal fire and the very comfortable bed. The biscuits in the welcome pack were amazing!!! Thank you.

The perfect place to relax
My husband and I, oh and Hamish our labrador, have just had the most wonderful week at Rowan Cottage. After a morning walk averaging 8 miles around the local area, we would spend the rest of the day relaxing in the cottage and completely forgetting about our working lives. The location is so beautiful and peaceful and the cottage is so perfect it was difficult to leave when our week was up. Anyone who books to stay here will not be disappointed.

Comfortable and spotless - a home from home!
We have just returned from a week in Rowan cottage and we were all sad to leave. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you need for a stay in this beautiful part of the country. The owners were very friendly and unobtrusive but happy to help if needed. We really enjoyed exploring the area - Brimham rocks, Fountains Abbey and Brymore Ice Cream parlor were particular favourites. Lovely welcoming touches such as a basket full of goodies, milk and eggs on arrival and even the fire was laid ready to be lit. We highly recommend!

Lovely few days away in Healey.
Rowan Cottage was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay. The views from the Cottage are fabulous. It is very well equipped with all the kitchen appliances and the living room open fire is very cosy. The property has a lot of character and is very beautifully kept.
