A detached and private stone quarrier`s house, originally four cottages now combined into one substantial architect designed residence situated in the heart of the Conservation village of Cullipool just 100 metres from the sea, and commanding magnificent views over the Firth of Lorne to the dramatic coastline of Mull. Extensively and sympathetically restored , the main accommodation comprises a large living room/ dining area with multi-fuel stove, cathedral- vaulted ceiling with stained- glass minstrel gallery and feature glass screen opening onto a large sundeck with sea-views and sensational sunsets (weather permitting!). Luing is an island we visit often, incredibly beautiful part of the world. Creagard House is very conveniently located. Beautiful quiet setting, and the icing on the cake is the deck over looking the quarry.

If you have a satnav put in the Cuan as a destination.Driving up through Glasgow at the Kingston Bridge allow three hours to the ferry at Cuan via A82 Crianlarich and then the A85 to Oban. (From Edinburgh you travel via Stirling M9, A84, A85 Crianlarich).From Oban, continue through the town and follow the A816 tourist route South (Lochgilphead, Campbeltown) 8 miles till you see the signs for the B844 to Cuan , Easdale and Luing. Travel down this single track road aprox.4 miles to Balvicar Bay. Immediately past Balvicar Bay follow the signs left for Cuan and Luing (B8003 South Cuan).
