Hillside Homestay provides affordable accommodation for anyone that wishes to visit Te Aroha. We have a fully self contained 2 bedroom unit with access to a swimming pool right at the foot of our beautifull Te Aroha mountain Superior accommodation for families, golf groups and friends. Breakfast provided. Accommodation Two Bedrooms A queen and two singles. Quality bedding, electric blankets. Hair dryers and luggage stands. Extra Basin unit in the single room. Bunk Room 1 set of bunks and a single bed alongside unit for children Lounge With large TV and DVD Internet Connection and desk. Kitchen Table and chairs Microwave Small fridge Full cutlery, crockery, glasses [water and wine] Toaster Coffee plunger and kettle.

Want quiet accommodation? This is it.
After a stressful couple of weeks, my wife and I had the pleasure of two nights blissful sleep. Extremely pleasant hosts. Ideal, for a couple or a family, with a well stocked pantry to get you started, Only a short distance from town, the hot pools and other points of interest. I can safely, recommend this accommodation.

Very comfortable and outstanding care and attention by hostess
This comfortable and spacious accommodation has great views of the rural area and is well stocked for breakfast and morning and afternoon teas plus a fully equipped kitchen if you don't want to eat out! Our hosts Ruth and Davis were very helpful and booked us in for a delicious dinner at Ironique, and a very enjoyable hot spa. Ruth also drove us to the top of the bush-covered track so that we did a 30-minute walk down. Te Aroha was a great 2-day stay where we visited the Te Aroha Domain with its great spas and Museum.

Quiet, delightful hosts, great information provided, charming setting.
A place with character and great hosts. We felt very much at home in this very comfortable self contained apartment. We were given excellent advice by the owners, a lovely couple who clearly know their town and locality well. Though very helpful, they were also discrete and unobtrusive. Te Aroha has so much to see and experience, but there is no substitute for local knowledge. The facilities are good and the art that graces the walls gives the place a special touch. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous. We wish that we had more time to stay in Te Aroha and at this convenient and delightful place.

Excellent location and child-friendly
We stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful time. The location was amazing! We were minutes away from shops and cafes and the famous Te Aroha Mineral Spas. David & Ruth were very accommodating hosts. They even invited my kids over to their house to play with their granddaughter who was visiting. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the pool too. We will definitely visit again!
