Villa Hirundo Rustica is original rustic stone house, older than 130 years, completely renovated in 2018 and transformed in luxury 5 star villa. It is situated in the middle of Dalmatia, in Šibenik county, only 2 km from historical city Skradin (ACI Marina Skradin) and 3 km from National Park Krka and its amazing waterfalls. Villa Hirundo Rustica is semi-detached house which consists of two private stone villas. Bigger house (orange outside) has 3 bedrooms and smaller house (completely stone exterior and interior) has 2 bedrooms and each has its private swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna, also is available amazing barbecue area with dining table, outdoor kitchen, grill and pizza oven. Abbiamo prenotato questa meravigliosa Villa per le nostre vacanze d’agosto con il nostro gruppo di amici. Che dire? Fantastica!! Oltre il design della villa sia interno che esterno curato nei minimi dettagli e con il gusto ad un livello superiore - servizi accessori come sauna, piscina,idromassaggio, bici etc meraviglioso. Tutto studiato dai proprietari per avere una vacanza a 7 stelle!
Però una cosa che ci ha sorpreso e lasciato a bocca aperta e’ stata la gentilezza e hospitalita’ della Signora Maja e sua mamma che tutti giorni ci coccolava con meravigliose pietanze fresche dal loro orto! Grazie per questa fantastica vacanza! See you next time!

Einfach ein Traum!!!
Die Bilder haben nicht zu viel Versprochen. Es war einfach atemberaubend. Die Gastgeberin hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Die Aussenlage ist Top. Die Gegend ist schön ruhig. Die Wasserfälle von Krka sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen, sowie die schöne Altstadt Sibenik. Wir haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht;))

Parfait
Maja (l'hote) nous a accueillie dès notre arrivée à Skradin et ce avec des spécialités locales! Elle nous a fait visiter les différentes pièces et nous expliquant toutes les modalités. Tout ce qui se trouvait sur les photos étaient bel et bien là. Le complexe est spacieux ( nous étions 9), très propre, calme, à l'abris des regards et très bien équipé! Chaque chambre dispose de sa propre salle de bain, wc, TV dans la chambre, lit double confortable.
Il est également bien équipé à extérieure, grande terrasse avec piscine, bain à bulles et sauna! Il dispose également d'un barbecue couvert et d'un grand jardin.
Idéale pour un groupe d'amis ou une famille, de nombreux jeux sont à disposition ( jeux d'eau, raquette de badminton ainsi que des vélos!)
L'accès y est facile et nous disposions même de notre propre parking ( 2 voitures parquées).
Le village le plus proche se trouve à 5 min en voiture, on peut y faire des courses, aller au restaurant, se promener. Pour aller en ville, il faut environ 20 min avant d'arriver à Šibenik.
Maja est disponible pour nous guider ou nous conseiller sur de beaux endroits à visiter, de bons restaurants où aller...
Rien à redire, c'était vraiment un excellent choix!

Amazing Skradin
We visited the Villa near the end of August, we saw pictures of course, but the pictures can never evoke the live experience. First there is the sound of crickets which is inevitable for a full experience, at least for us, hypnotizing you and relaxing. As much as we were tired of driving, when we entered the yard, all the tension was gone. Beautifully landscaped, renovated old stone house fascinating at first glance ... Phenomenal space for children, heated and jacuzzi pool, sauna, barbecue, outdoor showers, outdoor toilet, bicycles to use, pool accessories; toys for children and lofts. The whole property is carefully and quality furnished and equipped, much attention is paid to every detail. The furniture is extremely comfortable, we slept great, as at home, the air conditioning helped greatly :). We didn't use the sauna, it was just too hot, but it looks very attractive. The owner and her family, as well as other locals, are extremely kind and friendly, if you find yourself in a problem or need guidance, advice, no worries, they will find a solution. The surroundings are beautiful, the Krka National Park, you should not miss it, from the easy walks through the intersection of small streams of Krka, and under the thick canopy of trees, to the boat ride, a beautiful local beach. If you want a little wandering, views of the historical sights and city bustle, Šibenik is a 15min drive, Split 1-1.30h. I definitely recommend it

Best stay anywhere ever :)
I don’t even know when to start!
Ok so we were welcomed by dear dear Maja upon arrival who picked fresh fruit for us and had a shot of Homemade walnut liquor with us before she toured us through the most incredible villa you can imagine.
First of all, design is absolutely incredible. I asked her for info on half of furniture in the house :)
Living room: Cozy and comfortable. Beautifully done and extension of the best equipped kitchen I have seen in rentals, not to mention the entire kitchen utensils are Vileroy & Boch. Bedroom in the ground floor is so cute and served us as an afternoon nap bedroom.
Bedrooms- beds are very comfortable, bathrooms very good. You can close all shutters to make it completely dark if you wish. This was super important to me because I wake up with the first ray of sun. Beat thing about bedrooms is the exit to the sweetest terrace you can imagine. Ideal for morning coffee in the shade or a night cap. We used it for both :)
Outdoor area- absolutely impressive, from pool, floaties, sauna, outdoor shower, toilet, huge beautifully maintained lawn, bbq, pizza oven, ping pong table, bikes and more I dont even remember. Impressive to say the least. We spent most of the time in the villa and not once were bored!
Last but not least or better said most important, the host- Maja. This is hospitality that one doesn’t find any longer. Young, hard working and enthusiastic, Maja brought us something every single day- from watermelon to a whole freshly baked local cake (gluten free on top of it!), their family wine and cookies. We were literally overwhelmed (in a best possible way!) by her hospitality. It is her kindness that made this stay best stay ever, anywhere.
If we are back to this area, we will most definitely stay here again. Next time we plan on hiring both villas and coming with families. To say I can recommend this place is a true understatement :)

Family vacation
We spent a beautiful family vacation in this villa. Maja welcomed us in a friendly way so we felt like we were at home. The villa and the whole area around is beautifully decorated, but of course children liked the pool the most. The area around is very quiet, we almost felt like we were alone. This was so relaxing, I could only recommend. We will definitely come back, Thanks again for everything.

We are only 2 km from the old city and port of Skradin. It is a sea entrance for the National Park Krka, but you can also visit area and the Park with bikes or on foot - almost 500 km of bike routes around the Park is waiting for those who prefer active vacations (6 bikes are available for our guests for free). Skradin area has famous local specialties and many excellent restaurants where you can enjoy good food and great wine from the local winery.
