We wanted to spend a couple of days relaxing in the sun between the Rockies and Vancouver and chose this rental due to its location in Peachland and its pool. The poolside suite was spacious and very comfortable with a pretty outside terrace with bbq. Our teenage children loved the pool table and the pool. We decided to eat in both evenings we were there due to it being a short drive in to the town and used the bbq. There is not a full cooker/hob in the suite but there is a ring on the bbq to boil a pan so it had everything you needed. Gillian was very friendly and a great host. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

My mother and I were very fortunate to find this lovely home away from home just 25 min from Kelowna and 5 min from Peachland. We toured from Salmon Arm to Osoyoos returning each night to make our dinner and relax on the deck for the evening. Very tranquil, this country property is clean and well cared for exactly as described and pictured, The owner was very pleasant and interesting to talk with. Perfect for a couple or a family. Children would love the pool and large lawn area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. We would definitely book again.

My husband and I and our three teen boys enjoyed a week at the Carriage house. Location offered peaceful days and evenings yet minutes to groceries, the beach and restaurants. Nightlife, if you wanted more, was a 15 minute drive to Kelowna or 25 minutes to the beaches of Penticton. The Carriage house itself was very clean and well equipped. The beautiful patio, badminton net and pool were really bonus. The Carriage house and Gill offered a great mix of information and privacy. All financial agreements were honoured as discussed . I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family , however part of me wants to keep this one all to myself ! Hope to return.

We were up to visit friends in Summerland and looked forward to coming back to our own little cabin everyday. Everything was stocked so well and immaculate! It was so nice to be away from the main highway... My teens ventured off to the trails in the neighborhood and came back to play a bit of badminton and take a swim. The pool was nice and sparkling! Jill was great and was there if we needed anything. We look forward to going back and have already recommended it to relatives. Thanks again

We stayed in the Poolside Retreat and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The whole of the property is beautifully presented and maintained which creates a feeling of peace & relaxation. The apartment is exceptionally spacious and well-equipped; the kitchenette/living/pool table area is huge - the photos don't do it justice. Apart from the two bedrooms, there is an open plan study area with a very comfortable sofabed - one of our teenagers used this as they liked having their own space. The pool is gorgeous and spotlessly clean.The local supermarket is well-stocked. The owner Gill is wonderfully welcome; she gives you many useful tips for visits in the area and makes sure you know she is on hand if you need assistance but is also very respectful of your privacy. A few minutes drive takes you down to Peachland and the shores of Lake Okanagan with its stunning surroundings and clear waters. Summerland has a beautiful sandy beach where you can hire kayaks etc. If you take a drive or walk up the hill from Gill's you will find horses, llamas and vineyards. This is an outstandingly beautiful area, if you are visiting, don't hesitate to stay here. Thank you Gill for having us to stay, we won't forget it!

This is my 3rd time staying at the Poolside Suite and as usual was a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. Gillian is an excellent hostess and ensures everything is perfect when you arrive. I hope to be back next August! Thank you!

We stayed this July at Poolside Retreat and had an amazing time! The location is very quiet and peaceful, I practice yoga and got up every morning for a routine by the pool! the accommodation is spacious and well equipped with everything you need to cook and hang out as well as being new and clean! We played badminton and lounged by the pool, grilled on the BBQ and the hosts Gill is really friendly and informative on things to do in the area. Could not recommend this spot more!

We stayed in the Carriage House for a week with 3 young kids (age 5, 7, & 10) and everyone had a great time. House had plenty of room for the week with a great private patio area & BBQ. We used the pool almost everyday and it was perfect. All around great family vacation for everyone!

Gillian & Ray have a beautiful home and are great hosts. I have stayed at this location now 3 times and it never fails to impress. The Carriage House is ideal if you want Privacy and your own house. And the Poolside Retreat offers an equally private and great okanagan experience! My family and I (Two young boys aged 2 & 5 ) originally stayed in the Carrriage House a few years back (1 child at that time) and loved it. The accoms are spacious both in around the 1000square feet area with each offering two bedrooms and a bathroom as well as BBQ and all cutlery ,bedding,etc. The Carriage house may be more preferable if you desire full kitchen appliances as the poolside is bar style fridge and cooking is done on side burner on BBQ within Poolside. With young kids either rental is very easy with all the comforts of home. Microwave, DVD , TV, and everything you would have in your own home. The location of this property is great as is 2 min drive to beach ave area and close to all shopping needs and a great commute to Penticton/Summerland and Greater Kelowna area. There is a park a short walk away for children as well as very cool walking path that oversees the beautiful Peachland area. The rates are very reasonable for what you get! Much more spacious then a hotel and you very own private pool. The pool is shared between the two rental units but in 3 times I have never had anyone in pool but my own family not that it would matter because it is spacious with a diving board. They have put alot of thought into every detail as there are lounge chairs to bask in the okanagan sun while sipping a beverage(no glass around pool) and enjoying a hot summer day. They even have lounge chairs for the pool and water noodles for the kids to use. All and all this is a family favorite ! The Young Stars tournment for the NHL is 15 Min away in Penticton and The Poolside Retreat I stayed in with my brother to take in the tournament.(Diehard Edmonton Oiler Fans) The Poolside retreat offers a pool table and is steps away from Pool. The Carriage House has a short path from secluded house area on same property. Gillian & Ray are by far the best hosts myself and family have experienced while doing VRBO rentals! When I was headed on a long journey to United States I spent a few days at this location. I was experiencing major vehicle issues . Ray & Gillian had a friend look into my issues and the rest of my trip was saved as the issues were resolved. This is one of many examples of the type of people & hosts Gillian and Ray are! If you have a chance to get to know Ray & Gillian personally, you too will see the great people they are. I thoroughly have enjoyed every experience and am glad Gillian and Ray took the time to meet me and my family. We love the property and are happy we have met what has become great friends in Gillian and Ray! I am hesistant to tell all the great things about this property as this has become a yearly thing for our family and dont want my Okanagan Paradise taken over lol. I am writing this review to share what my family feels is the best Okanagan rental I have seen.
