Just back from a wonderful week at Spiti Melianou. It means ‘Place of honey’ and we certainly had a sweet time there. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy bay of Agios Georgios a lovely resort (no hen or stag parties - it’s v family orientated). These are unpretentious apartments and yet are so well equipped. Everything you could need in your apartment is there - and outside too. Spotlessly clean with so many charming touches showing real attention to details. Estelle and Peter were brilliant hosts. Their excellent local knowledge for places/tavernas to go to was so helpful- and accurate- and a real commitment to their lovely space. They were always around early in the morning if you needed to ask anything. The gardens are charming - full of butterflies. The lounge area near the plunge pool was great for a relaxing read. These apartments are superb value for money. I would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at Melianou holidays. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Many thanks to Estelle and Peter who are wonderful hosts. We will be back.

Lo Studio è carino, ben attrezzato e con un carinissimo terrazzino provvisto di sedie e tavolo. Belle anche le aree comuni con area barbeque, piscinetta e tavoli ombreggiati. Vininissimo alla spiaggia e ai ristorantini.

Peter and Estelle are the perfect hosts who made our stay a very enjoyable experience. If you need anything they will do their up most to deliver nothing is to much trouble for them. I would recommend the well equipped studios for all your needs. We will certainly be going again and again.

First time in corfu, Peter & Estelle were just lovely and nothing was any trouble. The villa was spotless and sat in beautiful grounds, with Olive trees, Orange & Peach trees. Sitting out on the verandah in the evening and listening to the Cicadas & Scops owls was amazing. Plunge pool was an absolute god send. Beach just a 5 minute walk away and the local taverna on the right at the end of the road, just before the beach serves excellent food (tip: listen to the owner to recommend what to eat, it will always be good!) run by a lovely man. Just watch out for Peter wearing his kaftan!!!!! Look out, we'll be back. Julia & Phil

Spiti Melianou is a fantastic place for a Corfu holiday base. Studio's are very well located - easy access to beach, cafes and shops and yet tranquil and secluded. Delightful views from the balcony across verdant valley to the sea. The studio accommodation is simple, comfortable and clean. The grounds are very nicely kept, with plenty of lovely flowers and the small pool is pristine - I believe it was cleaned every day. We would recommend arranging for airport transfer with the owners, it was quick, easy and competitively priced and as a bonus there was a charming and amusing commentary re: local points of interest (including the Durrells) from Estelle. The only downside is somewhat limited privacy, as one cannot escape proximity of the neighbours when enjoying a sit down on the balcony, but the privacy aspect could be easily improved by some trellis or hanging baskets. WiFi worked without fault throughout our stay, which is more than can be said about pricier hotels.

Our 2nd visit to these lovely apartments. We had a wonderful 10 days stay, the rooms are immaculate, everything you need, well equipped and modern kitchen, newly installed air conditioning. Short stroll to the lovely beach, the sea was crystal clear. Lots of lovely tavernas to choose from, excellent local dishes and very good value. Our hosts Estelle and Peter were fantastic, their local knowledge is exceptional and their welcome as warm as ever. The gardens at the apartments are looking beautiful, lemon, peach and orange trees with fruit in abundance, nothing like freshly picked oranges and peaches for breakfast. The plunge pool is a must after a long hot day on the beach, we made good use of the BBQ too. Thanks again for a fantastic holiday and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Having spent 2 weeks back at Spiti Melianou this June, I can only say it was as enjoyable as ever, dare I say even better then on my previous visits. Improvements have been made to the Studios, which now have air conditioning, new kitchenettes and ceramic hobs. The pool area has been updated with a larger pool, sun loungers and a large shaded area. Gas BBQ and garden furniture are available for guests to use in the beautiful garden, a lovely spot for a chat and drink with fellow guests before dinner. Estelle and Pete are most welcoming hosts, and ensured that our holiday was a special occasion, so much so that we have booked to return this September, when the weather will be a little cooler and the pool temprature will be below 26C.

Nicely located in a quiet spot less than ten minutes walk to the beach and tavernas; accommodation very comfortable, and Peter and Estelle were always friendly and helpful. We will go again.

We visited Estelle and Peter in Sept rather than our usual May for a quiet week after a busy tine in Athens. Fabulous greeting at the airport as always and stayed in Apartment No 2, the plunge pool and sunbed area has been added since our last visit and was wonderful, especially if you're feeling lazy and can't be bothered to walk the short distance to the beach!!!. We were invited to Big Breakfast in Roda with other guests which was lovely, and although we suggested we would get a taxi back, Estelle and Peter waited for us to do our shopping and took us back. Nothing is too much trouble for our hosts. Peter makes excellent Cheese and Salami Rolls and is very generous with the wine!. looking forward to seeing the new kitchens in the apartments next year.
