The villa looks exactly as shown in the pictures. From the terrace we had a beautiful overview over the valley. We reserved a daily breakfast, which was very nice: every morning freshly baked cakes, quiches, fried eggs, fresh fruit, ... More than enough for breakfast. We usually ate the rest for lunch or as an afternoon snack. We also participated in Maria's cooking class, and the pizza party : greatest pizza every! Definitely to recommend!

Wij hebben in mei 2015 villa L’Antica Sosta met circa 30 mensen bezocht. Dit in verband met onze trouwerij. De gasten waren net zo enthousiast over de locatie, de appartementen en de familie die het beheert en je ontvangt, als wijzelf. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal en alles is uiterst verzorgd. We hebben de eerste avond een pizzaparty gehouden en dit was ontzettend lekker en gezellig. De temperatuur was al zo goed dat we in het heerlijke zwembad konden plonzen. Natuurlijk hebben we de omgeving verkend (goede uitvalsbasis). Op de trouwdag hebben we zonder al te veel afspraken de familie het diner laten regelen; wat een succes was dat; wederom alles voor elkaar! Een aanrader voor iedereen dus! We hebben deze locatie geboekt via een tussenpersoon.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa bellissima casa ad aprile, in occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario di matrimonio dei mie genitori e credo che non potessimo chiedere di meglio visto che abbiamo avuto la possibilita' di stare tutti insieme nella stessa casa compreso il nostro cane che e' stato libero di gironzolare nel curatissimo giardino ( senza limiti) . Ci siamo rilassati molto volentieri nel bel salone al rientro dalle nostre escursioni ed abbiamo preparato gustose cenette nella bella e spaziosa cucina.abbiamo aprezzato la pulizia e l'ordine di tutti gli ambienti ,si intuisce che i propritari sono particolarmente attenti ai dettagli che fanno di questa una casa molto curata ,ci sentiamo di consigliarla anche per la posizione strategica che offre l'opportunita' di poter visitare posti incantevoli senza dover fare lunghi tragitti dall'abitazione.questa casa e'stata una bellissima cornice alla nostra vacanza.

sono stata ospite nella Villa Antica Sosta il 22 febbraio 2014 con un gruppo di ragazzini del 1972.... gli eletti....un eccellente su tutti i punti di vista.... la villa esattamente come da galleria del sito..... accoglienza eccellente, interni ed esterni eccellenti, pulizia eccellente.... prima colazione eccellentissimaaaaaaaaaaaaa! grazie e complimenti... a presto

Villa accogliente, la pulizia e la cordialità dello staff fanno sicuramente la differenza. La proprietaria molto gentile. Camere e bagni puliti e spaziosi. Ottima la colazione.

Our extended family of 8 stayed at villa for a week. The house itself is beautiful and decorated inside and outside with so many delightful details. It was much better than the pictures. It is a bit off the road and you do need a car to get around. Maria and her family are great hosts! They cook Tuscan dinner for us one night and the next night all the women of the group participated in a cooking lesson - so much fun (nutella cookies was a hit!)! Pool was always clean and the entire property is very well maintained. You do need to buy all your cooking supplies (e.g. - salt, sugar, tea, oil) if you plan to cook and eat in like we did; all the necessary cookware and more is provided. The view from the second floor window is great, but if you want better view, just drive toward Montespertoli and enjoy! Wi-Fi is provided in the house.

This villa was the perfect place to stay for our family holiday in Italy. It has traditional Tuscan decor with large comfortable rooms and a wonderful outside area where we ate overlooking the garden, swimming pool, and a view over the Tuscan countryside. The bedrooms are as you see them in the photographs, all very colourful, a good size and clean. We were 9 adults so wondered if only having 3 bathrooms might have been an issue if we're all using them at the same time but it wasn't with plenty of hot water and plenty of power when all used at once!! Maria cooked us 2 meals, a traditional Tuscan and the other as our family named it the Pizza Party!! Both were lovely and worth the money. She was also very helpful before and during the holiday with any questions you had and organised a wine tasting evening at a local vineyard which was amazing. The villa was very central for visits to Florence, Siena (both you could reach by train from the local town 10mins away), and San Gimignano. We all had a very relaxing holiday at his beautiful villa and would highly recommend it.

Wir haben mit Freunden eine wundervolle Woche in der Villa Sosta verlebt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet allen Komfort, den man sich wünscht. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Bemerkenswert ist auch die Größe des Pools. Hausherrin Maria hat uns mit einem wunderbaren Büffet verköstigt und war bei Fragen stets hilfsbereit. Die Villa inmitten der Olivenhaine und Weinberge ist ein wahres Idyll, wenn man seine Ruhe genießen möchte. Sie ist zugleich ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Sienna, Florenz, Volterra oder Vinci, die alle in einer für Tagesausflüge akzeptablen Distanz liegen. Dolce Vita in der Toskana - in der Villa Sosta haben wir es in vollen Zügen genießen können.

I was looking for a proper appartment / house for a long time and finally I've found Antica Sosta. There is everything what you can expect, large and clean house with Tuscan climate, equipped with all needed sorts of equipment. Perfect view on the surrounded hills and perfect and proffesional owner. In one word I definitelly recomend for large families or group of friends as there are 5 bedrooms.

Abbiamo trascorso il capodanno 2012 in questa bellissima casa sulle colline di CastelFiorentino, cercavamo una struttura che potesse ospitare dieci persone (5 coppie) e "l'antica sosta" si è rivelata perfetta per le nostre esigenze. Infatti gli spazi sono ben distribuiti: la cucina è ben organizzata e spaziosa, il gran salone camino da condividere durante la giornata, lo splendido giardino adiacente (con piscina purtroppo solo da guardare in questo periodo dell'anno) dotato di barbecue. Allo stesso tempo le 5 camere garantiscono la tranquillità per chi ne ha bisogno e i 3 bagni evitano le lunghe attese di preparazione delle donne!! Alla fine siamo rimasti in Toscana 5 giorni, avevamo un sacco di progetti ma ci siamo adagiati e ci siamo fatti coccolare dalla bellezza e dalla tranquillità dell'Antica Sosta e così abbiamo passato queste giornate in salotto davanti al grande camino, nel bellissimo giardino attorno al barbecue a cucinare grigliate favolose. Il rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto a tanti altri casali Toscani è ottimo, la signora Maria cordialissima e a noi di certo resterà nel cuore per molto tempo questa avventura, speriamo di tornarci, magari in un mese più caldo per godere ancor più della piscina e del giardino .
