We stayed at villa Maria family of 4 2 children age 21 & 13. Beautiful villa with stunning views over the sea. Villa had everything you could possibly need and pool was cleaned every couple of days. 5 mins walk takes you to the beach with restaurants which were lovely. We visited the holiday village also 5 mins away for the day which had a water park which our son enjoyed, €15 each fir the day which included use of the snack bar. We got a taxi to tisivilli which has a lot more bars and restaurants plus lots of shops only cost € 12. Throughly enjoyed our stay Maria could not have been more helpful we would return.

This is the second time I have stayed at villa Mari and I can only say how lovely it was again. Very close to a few bars and restaurants if you fancy leaving the car and walking. If you do have a car hire then it’s a very short drive to Tsilivi town and beach- cab ride is only €10 one way. The Villa is clean and well equipped if you want to have BBQ’s. The pool is cleaned regularly. I cannot recommend this Villa enough!

Myself and my partner had the most amazing stay in Villa Mari. The photos don't even do it justice for how gorgeous the villa and surrounding area is. The host Marie is so lovely to deal with and she goes above and beyond to help with any queries, suggesting places to eat and things to do. I would highly recommend to email her before you arrive as she is really familiar with the island and she will guide you to having the best holiday in the villa and island of Zakynthos. The villa is extremely clean and tidy, you would feel at home when you arrive. It is located in a peaceful area but also not far from the necessities for your holiday. If you walk out of the villa and turn right, you will find a supermarket and the gorgeous Dream Hotel, where they host Greek Nights every Friday and welcome the guests of Villa Mari if you want some lunch or drinks before you head out for dinner (the food is gorgeous). If you leave the villa and turn left, there is a bar (quite small and wooden look on the outside) on the way which shows every sports channel, a large supermarket, beach and a few restaurants. I would also recommend getting a €10 taxi to Tsilivi which is the local town (about a 5 or 6 min drive) and this will have more lively bars, plenty of restaurants and arcades to entertain children. What I loved about the villa is that you are close to the busy town but definitely not close enough where you would hear any noise, so it's a guaranteed peaceful night sleep. Overall, the villa is the perfect spot for a couple or family and friends. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and we will 100% be back! This villa gets booked up quite quickly too so booking well in advance is a must!

A beautiful villa just outside Tsivili, Zakynthos. We were glad we had a car to take trips around the island to explore and not rely solely on the masses of bus tours you can take whilst there. The villa was clean and well equipped (dishwasher and washing machine) and several little supermarkets in walking distance. The pool was well maintained by a pool guy who visited whilst we were there. There was no direct access to the beach but a walk up the road had 3 restaurants and a little beach to explore. A fabulous break and the owner was easily talked to by email. All in all, we would go again and recommend to anyone.

Perfect location - 5 minutes from the beach and tavernas and 2 minutes to the local shop. Villa was spacious and the beds and seating in the living area were really comfortable. Villa was really well equipped and had everything you needed. Everything was in really good condition. We have never stayed anywhere where the standard of cleanliness, both inside and out, was so high - everywhere was absolutely spotless. The pool was a really good size and always clean due to the pool man coming every other day. Marie, the owner was really helpful - providing clear directions to the Villa and contacting us regularly to check everything was okay. Marie's representative in Zante (Simone) was also super helpful, visiting on our first day to give us lots of information in respect of the villa. She also arranged our taxi transfer back to the airport at the end of our holiday. Special mention to the Red Apple Cocktail bar, a five minute walk away which offered super friendly service, good food and fun entertainment with a weekly Greek Night and Karaoke a couple of nights a week. Breakfast can be had at the Amboula Restaurant on the beach and the Harmony Restaurant also had lovely meals. Cannot recommend this villa highly enough - we will definitely return.

Just back from a much needed, relaxing holiday, staying in the lovely Villa Marie. We had such a nice time, the weather and sea are perfect at this time of year. The villa is well located, tucked away in a quiet, private position in Planos area, just outside Tsilivi (2 minute drive to the centre) and Just a short 5 minute walk to the lovely peaceful Amboula beach and beach side tavernas (Ladofanaro was our favourite). There are a couple of markets closeby for food, drinks and beach essentials which was handy. The villa was easily spacious enough for our family of four with enough beds for a few more people if needed. The villa was well laid out, clean and has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay and the kids loved the swimming pool! The owner and local manager were both really helpful and responsive on the few occasions we called on them for help. We had a great stay and will be back for sure! Thanks 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mari! The villa is spacious, with comfortable beds and sofas. The sea view is fantastic. The facility is perfect, villa is clean and the pool is crystal clear (thanks to Simone and team). We will certainly come back!

The house is spacious and well-equipped, with a good sized swimming pool and plenty of space for sunbathing. All windows are fitted with fly screens, so you can have the windows open at night without having to worry about moths and mozzies, and the ground floor windows all have shutters, which makes the house feel very secure (not that it needs to be, none of the locals seem to lock anything!). There is a good sized fridge-freezer and a decent cooker, so you can stock up at one of the larger supermarkets (AB are good) and self-cater if you don’t want to eat out every night. Marie was very helpful throughout, as was the local team, and we needn’t have worried about Covid - the locals are much more switched on than we are in the UK and in a way that doesn’t make it feel awkward. We avoided busy boat trips etc but there was still plenty to do without having to worry about being exposed - to be honest we put it to the back of our minds after the first couple of days, other than when donning our masks as we entered shops etc. A special mention to Harmony restaurant, which is on the road down to the beach. The staff were very friendly (it feels like a family affair) and the food was very tasty and extremely good value. We also enjoyed Ambula and Teo’s (the latter for snacks rather than full meals). It was our first visit to Zante and we would definitely return, to both the island and this villa.

what can i say ....we booked this pretty last minute and boy we are glad we did.......beautiful place to stay the sea view was amazing ...pool was fantastic and was cleaned nearly every other day. couple mins walk to the beach to a fab little few bars and places to each few little bars within walking distance....both lovely the red apple and the paradiso bar so friendly....... short ride into tsivili about 8 euros which had loads to do ......would like to thank marie for all her help and letting us stay at her villa also her staff ....pool and managment ...very nice people thanks marie

Villa Mari was absolutely lovely. Perfect location, private and peaceful. My two children 10 and 7 found the swimming pool fantastic. Thank you great memories made!
