Fantastic place
our stay was perfect from booking with Shelley to arriving and being met by Pam. The houses are great very clean and spacious and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. Kiddy comforts who provide the toys to keep the little ones entertained were a lovely bonus. The pool was thoroughly used. there are shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk the beach is a slow 10 minute walk away

Fantastic family holiday would stay again
We stayed for 2 weeks the houses were well equipped and spacious, the pool and pool area were excellent and we were close to all of the shops etc. there were 16 of us in all and everyone enjoyed the holiday the younger ones especially liked the Dog and Duck pub which was a few minutes away with free wifi. I would definitely book again in the future, Excellent communication with the owner Shelley and Pam was only a phone call away for anything you needed.

First family holiday.
We had a great fortnight staying in number 19, as a first family holiday this was perfect plenty to do around and about. No noise or anything around complex. No. 19 was clean on arrival and well equipped for our 2 year old. We went as part of ten and stayed in both number 1 & number 19. Great garden in number 1. Great holiday, lovely greeting on arrival and can't thank Shelley enough for her help and fast response to emails etc for questions and requests since we booked it.

Great Holiday
We have just returned from our holiday and can honestly say it was great. As a party we rented both no1& 19 as there was 10 of us and there was more than enough room in both apartments. The apartments were very clean and functional, the pool was great for the kids and for the little ones we had the paddling pool to play with too. The toy packages offered by Kiddy Comforts were great too. The apartments are centrally located and within a 5min( with a 3yr old) walk you can get to many pubs restaurants and supetmarkets. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. We would recommend to anybody traveling with children. We travelled with 6 adults and 4 kids( 8,7,3,2 ) and everybody had a great holiday.

Good Location, Very Child friendly,
We traveled as a large family group and stayed in both No 1 and 19 for a week in Feb. Both houses were very clean and modern, and in a very good location. (Short walk to Dog and Duck) Both houses provided beach towels. The booking process was very efficient and any queries were quickly dealt with. If we came back to Caleta in a large family group again we would stay in both houses.

Excellent location, child friendly & lots of info provided
We really enjoyed this holiday with our 6.5 month old baby. The house was equipt with high chair and cot and had stair gates for older babies. We purchased a toy package which kept our little one entertained in the mornings. We were provided with plenty of information even before booking and this really swung it for us. After booking we had all the info we needed to make a smooth transfer to the house and loads of info was provided about the area. We also had a warm welcome on arrival and all of this made our stay hassle free and enjoyable. If we go back to this Island we'd book here again.

About the neighborhood
The resort is well situated for exploration of the rest of the island, and is approx. a 35 mins drive to the north of the island, which offers- sand dunes, water park, and ferry services to Lanzarote. Approx 45 mins to the south of the island to the zoo and botanical gardens, which are on the way to Jandia's spectacular beaches, known for hosting professional water sport events. Caleta de Fuste offers a wide variety of recreational activities, which are all within walking distance from the complex. The marina offers the Oceanarium, daily boat trips, and many water sport facilities. The 18 hole PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 min drive. The shopping plaza offering a ten-pin bowling alley, Spar supermarket and more can be reached by a walk along the beach as can the established Wellness-Center. The vast assortment of restaurants, cater for families with children of all ages. Within a 10 mins stroll, the large expanse of sandy beaches with shallow waters are ideal for both children to play and those looking to relax in solitude by the sea. Also within walking distance a little further along are the beautiful newly created man-made beaches and coves. There's fishing and diving opportunities, daily boat trips and many water sport facilities. The island is also well-known for its vast expanse of unspoilt sand dunes in the north and beautiful beaches in the south. The PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 mins drive. The course is an 18-hole par 70 of 6,078 metres from the championship tees, with two loops of 9 holes starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The practise facilities include a 50 bay driving range (50 balls cost around 3 euros), a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots. The course offers a pay and play facility and has buggies, trolleys and two classes of clubs for hire. The golf course is situated opposite the Atlantico Shopping and Leisure Centre. This is a few minutes drive from the complex and can be reached by the 'free bus service' which operates from just outside our complex and stops at several locations including the shopping centre and golf course. Prices for the golf course can be provided upon request.

How to get there
Fuerteventura has 1 airport and the resort is approximately a 10 minute drive from the airport (approx. 10 euros in a taxi). The main ferry port is approx 35 mins, which has regular ferry services to Lanzarote (Fast 12 mins, or slower ferry 30 mins). The resort does not require a car, and exploration of the island can either be with a hire car, local bus services, taxis, or excursions, all of which can be arranged from within the resort itself. A taxi from outside the airport to the properties is approx. 12 euros. We find they offer a good comparison of flight options to Fuerteventura. We are aware that flythomascook, EasyJet and RyanAir also fly to Fuerteventura now, and it may be worth checking their websites directly.
