Schöne saubere Unterkunft für eine Familie mit Kindern. Pool ist im Winter beheizt und nicht sehr kalt. An Ausstattung im Haus fehlt an nichts. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und auch hilfsbereit. Schlüsselübergabe war vort Ort.

Really nice apartment which catered for all our needs.
The location of this apartment is perfect, very close to to the town where there is a multitude of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach.
The apartment itself is very child friendly and has a nice family pool almost outside the garden gate. The outside terrace is large with sun beds, table and chairs.
Very clean inside and out with everything you need.
Communication from Shelley the owner was rapid and informative. Pam, the lady who oversees the apartment was also very helpful, providing good information on both the apartment and the area.
I would highly recommend biking this as you won't be disappointed. We hope to Book again for later in the year.

Very well equipped, well located, peaceful townhouse/apartment .
The villa is very well equipped and if you were staying for a period of time, it would be ideal. The pool was a little cold but it was winter and I was told by another holidaymaker that it hadn't been heated whilst we were there. It seemed to be secure with a gated entrance and a good lock on the front door and there is also a safe. The two toilets came in handy. I would definitely recommend it and it was spotless on arrival. Make sure you visit the restaurant Fado, lovely food !!

Absolutely perfect for families with small children!
Everything about this whole holiday was so easy... from the booking with Shelley to the meet and greet with Pam. We booked very last minute and flew out 6 days later. We are a family of 5 with three kids aged 8, 5 and 10 months. The house was perfect for our needs, well equipped with stair gates, cots, towels, beach towels etc. The kitchen was spacious and allowed us to have decent meals in (rather than struggling over a 2 hob cooker in a kitchenette), have a decently stocked fridge and sterilise baby bottles. The pool was a stones throw from the patio door and we had a lovely big terrace which meant that one of us could sunbathe there while baby slept and the older two were in the pool. The house is by no means lap of luxury but that is not what we were expecting given what we paid and, to be fair, it was worth every penny! The only downside was that you couldn't sit out on the terrace in the evening as there was a crosswind from the sea and coming from inland which meant dishes etc would just blow over. This is a very minor thing though! I read some other reviews about the pool not being heated, it isn't and I could see how this might be an issue for small children out of season, but in July the pool temperature was perfect. There is a lovely atmosphere in the complex and everyone is really friendly, it feels really laid back. I'd go back in a heartbeat and next year would hope to stay even longer. I'd have no problem recommending Amuley Mar 1 to families of small kids. Thanks for everything Shelley, we had a fantastic holiday!

Guaranteed Relaxation
Stayed here on 10th to 17th September 2015 with my daughter and 2 teenage grandsons, used the 3 bedrooms, it was clean, spacious, plenty of room in the outside area, pool area safe and uncluttered. A great week was had by all. my grandsons very keen on the pool and happy with the distance to the beach. Every thing was as stated, would recommend this holiday rental to family and friends.

Great home from home
Great location
Had a great week here with my partner our 3 yr old and 7 month old boys and my parents.
We had the 3 floors which were spotless, well equipped and baby safe. Great outdoor space, lovely neighbours, shame the pool wasn't a little warmer.
You're a 5 min walk from everything you need. Would definitely recommend this rental and would definitely go again.
All correspondence with the owner and the point of contact was dealt with swiftly before and during the trip.
Thank you to Shelley and Pam for helping us enjoy a stress free family holiday.

Lovely apartment, pool & complex - excellent location
We stayed at the apartment end of July beginning of August and found it to be really nice. The complex was very private and secure and there was no noise and not too many people around. The pool was lovely and clean and the kids loved swimming every day. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms was great and the beds were really comfy, even the kids slept late every day! Although our children were 7 and 12 we didn't need to use any of the safety facilities but I would recommend the apartment to families with young children, toddlers/babies. The lady who met us when we arrived was very efficient and helpful and the transfer was great, as it's only 5 mins from the airport. The location of the apartment is excellent as its situated about 10-15 minutes walk into town and to the beach. In the town there are quite a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from, our favourites were Fado Rock, Cambrinus and the American Wild West. It cost between approx 1.50 and 2.50 euros for a pint of beer. The beach was nice and big but quite rocky so the children weren't bothered for paddling there. We did find a better beach though a bit further round the bay infront of the Atlantico shopping centre, which is approx 20-25 minutes walk from the apartment. The beach here is manmade and perfect for children as the water was very gentle and there were no rocks. The Atlantico centre was very nice too, lots of nice shops and a very cheap Spar supermarket. The path that runs along the coast, where all the rocks are, is a lovely walk anytime of the day. This is where you can see and feed the chipmunks! The harbour is also lovely and a bit of a sun trap, as there really isn't any breeze here, it's very sheltered. There are loads of fish here, you can buy some food from the harbour shop to feed them for 1 euro. We really enjoyed our holiday in Costa Caleta and would like to go back again. It made all the difference staying in a lovely spacious apartment rather than cramped into a small hotel room for more or less the same money!!

Perfect holiday accommodation for a young family!
This was our first family holiday abroad with two young children - a 3 year old and a 9 month old, and it was fantastic. Booking it was easy, the owner was very quick to respond to emails, extremely helpful and informative. The accommodation was lovely, everywhere you looked, there was equipment for young children to make your life easier, from plastic plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, stair gates, high chairs, cots ....... the list is endless! All I took for my 9 month old was his formula, which made life very stress-free, although I found the pharmacy down the road actually sold the particular brand I use! Also all the shops sold Pampers! In terms of things to do, there are play parks everywhere so my 3 year old was very happy, and the restaurants loved the children, giving them little lollies or sparklers in their desert! The pool was lovely (a little on the cold side so my 3 year old was initially reluctant to get in but once she was in she was fine) and the beach was a 5 minute walk away, with yet another play park! For a small charge, you can choose from a number of toy packages which the owner will have ready for you and also more equipment if needed. We took our own buggy but hired another basic buggy for a day so we could walk round the beautiful coastline, all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this holiday rental to anyone, especially those with small children. We actually came home feeling like we had had a holiday, which is not always easy when you have children :-)

About the neighborhood
The resort is well situated for exploration of the rest of the island, and is approx. a 35 mins drive to the north of the island, which offers- sand dunes, water park, and ferry services to Lanzarote. Approx 45 mins to the south of the island to the zoo and botanical gardens, which are on the way to Jandia's spectacular beaches, known for hosting professional water sport events.
Caleta de Fuste offers a wide variety of recreational activities, which are all within walking distance from the complex. The marina offers the Oceanarium, daily boat trips, and many water sport facilities. The 18 hole PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 min drive. The shopping plaza offering a ten-pin bowling alley, Spar supermarket and more can be reached by a walk along the beach as can the established Wellness-Center. The vast assortment of restaurants, cater for families with children of all ages.
Within a 10 mins stroll, the large expanse of sandy beaches with shallow waters are ideal for both children to play and those looking to relax in solitude by the sea. Also within walking distance a little further along are the beautiful newly created man-made beaches and coves. There's fishing and diving opportunities, daily boat trips and many water sport facilities. The island is also well-known for its vast expanse of unspoilt sand dunes in the north and beautiful beaches in the south.
The PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 mins drive. The course is an 18-hole par 70 of 6,078 metres from the championship tees, with two loops of 9 holes starting and finishing at the clubhouse.
The practise facilities include a 50 bay driving range (50 balls cost around 3 euros), a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots.
The course offers a pay and play facility and has buggies, trolleys and two classes of clubs for hire.
The golf course is situated opposite the Atlantico Shopping and Leisure Centre. This is a few minutes drive from the complex and can be reached by the 'free bus service' which operates from just outside our complex and stops at several locations including the shopping centre and golf course.

How to get there
Fuerteventura has 1 airport and the resort is approximately a 10 minute drive from the airport (approx. 12 euros in a taxi). The main ferry port is approx 35 mins, which has regular ferry services to Lanzarote (Fast 12 mins, or slower ferry 30 mins). The resort does not require a car, and exploration of the island can either be with a hire car, local bus services, taxis, or excursions, all of which can be arranged from within the resort itself. A taxi from outside the airport to the properties is approx. 12 euros. We are aware that flythomascook, EasyJet and RyanAir also fly to Fuerteventura now, and it may be worth checking their websites directly.
