This was our second visit to this fabulous Grade 2 listed Manor House. 27 of us aged from 6 months to 67 years (me) accommodated easily in this period furnished home, stacked with antiques and curios, but with all mod-cons to ensure a comfortable stay. The indoor pool is an absolute bonus, and the kids enjoyed the disco room, indoor games, and we also played cricket, football, bowls etc. on the large lawns at the rear. The adults spent time in the two hot-tubs and sauna - marvellous! Mel, the owner, is a great host, there if you need him. We will be returning in 2024 - the location is great for our extended family travelling from all parts of the UK 👍

Just returned from a birthday celebration family gathering and had a brilliant weekend. It is a great place for large gatherings and has fantastic facilities including swimming pool, hot tubs and sauna. Very atmospheric and quirky and a very informative and friendly host!!

I can’t recommend this place more highly. We came here for my sisters hen do. We loved using the pool and the hot tubs. The formal dining room is insane and our meal in there was incredible. The owner Mel is the nicest person ever, I think I fell in love with him this weekend. He couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely. We WILL be coming back for future events.

What an amazing place. We had a fantastic stay at this fabulous period property. The hall is so quirky and full of character. The pool, sauna and hot tubs were great. Our host Mel was wonderful, he made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much to trouble. Can’t wait to return

Fantastic period property with plenty of character. The pictures look great but this place is better in person. The host Mel is also a character ( top host) who comes and gives you a tour and shows you where to find things and also if there is anything you need he will sort out. Throughout the week there were 17 of us. Plenty of room so your not under each others feet. Bedroom were a good size. Couple of rooms in the loft area are smaller which is to be expected, but they are ideal for the kids and also they have there own floor. Hot tubs, pool and outside space are great. Plenty of space for kids to run around and play games. BBQ area is a great addition and there is a good set of tools for you to use. Kitchen area is a good size and table can easily have 10 of you round it. There is a great formal dinning area to use which makes you feel proper regal 👑. Off that room is another casual eating area where you can easily fit 20+ people round nd and has a double door that opens onto the patio area. All in all a fantastic place where you can spend and have a great time with friends and family.

This is the most amazing place I have ever been to. It is like stepping back in time, as the moment you step in the front door, everywhere you look and go there are pieces of history. The decor and furnishings compliment the atmosphere and the whole experience of staying at Hagg Hill Hall. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like as there is so much you can do without going anywhere else. There is a great swimming pool (with a child friendly pool attached) , hot tubs, sauna and so much more. This makes it great for families and groups of all ages. Everything you need is on site and if you have any questions or concerns Mel, the owner, can be contacted and he can help. Mel made you feel very welcome and had a great sense of humour. I hope to come back again one day.

An outstanding location for families and groups, for all occasions. When you walk through rhe door your transported into another world, stepping into history. Home from home withe everything provided including towels , swimming pool towels, dressing gowns slippers. Well equipped kitchen, it was definitely worth the money everyone had a wonderful time age range from 2 to 85 Most enjoyable

From the moment Mel invited us in ,we were treated as family he took us on a tour explained everything. Hagg Hall was not a Hall it was our home. Everything you could ever wish for is there. The pool was a hit, the sauna indoor bbq , games. The rooms are spacious, the house was nice and warm. I have nothing negative to say about hagg hall. I would recommend Hagg hall highly. We had outside catering come in and a jazz band Mel came in to make sure everything was going well. The dinner room was fit for a king .

Wonderful 17th century country residence with so much character. 22 of gathered to celebrate my 60th birthday and the house accommodated us all perfectly. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were in use all weekend and everyone loved the outside sauna hut and using the the other jacuzzi under the stars. Yes the house is quirky and and somethings probably need updating but for us this added to the charm of the place and we were comfortable all weekend. Everyone slept really well and the large lounge with the huge fireplace was the perfect room for lounging on Sunday with cheese and wine. We enjoyed walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside and partied in the evening without disturbing anyone. It felt very private and home for the weekend. The experience of grand dining in the incredible dining room with all my closest friends and family on the Saturday night was one of the highlights for me over the weekend and the photos re too treasure. Everyone is asking ‘can we do it again next year’?

Absolutely loved our stay in Haggs Hill Hall! We went with 17 of us for a big family event and loved every second of it. There is loads of stuff to do in the house to entertain the kids, air hockey table, small pool table, giant chess, football table, a boat in the garden, large field to play games in (would recommend bringing your own set of balls, rackets etc. as a lot of the sets were incomplete) and a sand pit! Plenty of stuff for the adults to do too with two hot tubs, a pool, sauna and BBQ hut. Dog friendly and the owner Mel is so lovely, friendly and helpful. Pool was being fixed up so was not in use for us but looks like it'll be amazing when back in working condition! Plenty of space for lots of people with plenty of bathrooms and living space. The history of the place is amazing and genuinely feels like you've gone back in time. Would absolutely recommend ☺️
