The garden studio is a real haven, tucked away in our large back garden, which runs alongside the river. There is a private decking area, double bed, sofa area, small kitchen, small dining table and shower and toilet.
Guests comment that it is hard to believe that the Thoroughfare is so close by, with a number of shops, pubs and good eating places all a short walk away. The studio really does give you the best of both worlds. The only noise likely to wake you is the song thrush or blackbird early in the morning!

Interaction with guests:
We always try to be at home to meet and greet you. If we are not able to, our housekeeper Amy can usually meet you, but failing that, we can leave the keys for you to collect.
We appreciate that most of our guests love to do their own thing and enjoy their privacy, but we often meet in the garden and have a chat.

Halesworth railway station is 5 minutes walk away and the Suffolk coast is very accessible. Southwold is 8 miles and Walberswick, ,Dunwich and Aldeburgh are not much further away. Minsmere bird reserve is about 10 miles away and there are so many beautiful walks and bike rides.
Public transport is pretty good around here, so a car isn't essential and everything in Halesworth is within walking distance. There are regular buses to Southwold and Beccles (on the River Waveney) also regular trains to Lowestoft and Ipswich via Beccles and some lovely Suffolk towns and villages.
