Prices include all gas, electricity, free wifi internet access, and use of the laundry room. Check in from 3pm, departure about 10am. Bacton has two cafés, a gift shop, fish and chip shop, newsagent/grocery store, Chinese restaurant and park with a children's play area, all within a few minutes walk. The Poacher's Pocket pub and restaurant is just under a mile away along the sea front in one direction, whilst the mini-resort of Mundesley with its amusement arcade, cafés, skateboard park and Adventure Island Crazy Golf Course is about three miles along the beach in the other direction. Boat hire and tours are available on the Norfolk Broads only six miles away. Spend a quiet day pottering about on the beach, sunbathing, paddling, swimming, building sand castles, beach combing for fossils or beach fishing, popping back to your caravan now and then for refreshments. If you are feeling a little more energetic, you could walk along the beach to the neighbouring blue flag beach resort of Mundesley or, in the other direction, to the seafront village of Walcott. There are also pleasant walks around Bacton Woods and to the local church and circular walks via waymarked footpaths or quiet lanes. There are many attractions within a short drive of the site. There's the hustle and bustle of Great Yarmouth, Cromer and the cathedral city of Norwich and other attractions such as theme parks, the Norfolk Broads for walks and boat hire, sea boat trips for seal viewing or sea fishing, Sea Life Centres, National Trust properties, zoos, museums, steam railways and fun fairs.

Perfect
Stayed with grandchildren for 2 nights, caravan was perfect! Great location, spotlessly clean, friendly manager. We had fantastic weather and children were still playing in sea at 6.30pm. If you want a beautiful seaside break I would definitely recommend.

Little Gem
Just had a lovely week, accommodation spotlessly clean, lovely touches that make a lot of difference such as milk and sugar, tea coffee left for us, a stones throw from the beach and if you need to a laundry room with washer dryer and ironing board, can't praise them enough, the only thing I found different was bedroom heating but it was cold for the time of year, loved the whistling kettle it reminded us of our childhoods. Will definitely go again.

A very special hidden gem
We have stayed at The Leas Beach as a family of 5/6 4 times and have already booked for next year. The Caravans are immaculate, you are made very welcome by the owners, there is tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk in the fridge, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil etc. On the small site is a laundry room with washing machine & tumble dryer free to use! An iron, hoover, books and games are there to borrow! It is a small well maintained site with a little play area and rotary washing lines placed between caravans which is handy. The beautiful sandy beach is a stones throw from the caravans, no dog allowed on the beach (peak season). In Bacton there is a nice fish and chip shop and chinese restaurant which i can highly recommend! Walcott can be walked to along the beach which has an ice cream parlour and a fish and chip restaurant. Mundesley is also within walking distance along the beach and there are pubs, shops, cafes, arcades and adventure playgrounds, even mini golf!! What more can you want. The only thing to let the area down was the amount of dog mess on the beach and paths, irresponsible owners ignoring the ban and not picking up after their dogs!! No reflection on The Leas Beach though.!! Please don't go to the Leas Beach though because it's my hidden gem and i don't want to share it!!!!! Lol :)

Peaceful retreat
We were looking to have a stress free, peaceful time on our holiday this year, and that was exactly what we got. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, we were met by the owner upon out (late) arrival he was very friendly and informative. The site was a stones throw away from the vast clean sandy beach. In the village, The Duke pub was not to our liking , however it had only just been taken over so the new people had not really settled in. We found the Poachers Pocket better, there was live music on Friday and Saturday night and the food is very good.

What I nice suprise
I feel I had to write and compliment Leas beach park after our stay on Saturday July 27th 2015, we were very pleasantly surprised as we had never stayed in a beach caravan and we were somewhat apprehensive until our arrival, but I can't praise the park more for the great accommodation and level of cleanliness, only a stones throw from the beach too. Perfect size for our family of four, quiet location which is a nice contrast after a busy day on Clacton beach. I can't recommend them more. John noble

How to get there
Directions to the site (If driving a large vehicle please ask for alternative directions). From Norwich take the B1150 signposted to North Walsham. When you reach North Walsham, turn left at the first set of traffic lights and then straight on at the second set of lights. Take the next right turn (signed to Edingthorpe), turn right at the T-junction and then take the next left turn. Go straight on at the next junction and follow the B1150 to Bacton (through Edingthorpe). Shortly after entering Bacton take the left turn signposted to Paston. Drive through the village until the road bends sharply to the left (there is a Chinese restaurant on your left). Turn right off the main road and then immediately right into Mill Lane (an unmade and un-named lane from this entrance). A large house called The Hermitage will be on your left. Follow Mill Lane through the sea defence gate and around to the right. Pass three cottages and you will see our site opposite the sea wall steps. Or from Cromer take the B1159 signposted to Mundesley. Follow the road through Mundesley and on into Bacton. Once in Bacton, take the first left turn just before a grassy triangle on the left and a right hand bend. Go straight on over Beach Road into Mill Lane (an unmade and un-named lane from this entrance). A large house called The Hermitage will be on your left. Follow Mill Lane through the sea defence gate and around to the right. Pass three cottages and you will see our site opposite the sea wall steps.
