Why 'Les Carroz' ?

The main reason we decided to buy in Les Carroz is that away from the ski season we like to have day trips to Switzerland (1hour) and Italy (2 hours) and to generally explore Europe.

Why 'Claudes' ?
Although the chalet in which Claudes is situated, it only 15 years old, it was designed and is maintained in the traditional Savoyard style - pine and red and white decorations,
When we bought it 15 years ago our children were small and the fact that we are in a pedestrian precinct every morning they went to the shop to by breakfast and of course use their French. Again the ice rink is in the precinct and only a 50 sec walk away.
The fact that the ski bus stops outside the flat is again ideal for tired little and old legs.

The nearest airport is Geneva which has a regular Easyjet and BA service from the majority of airports in the British Isles. There are three recommended ways to reach Les Carroz from Geneva. Hire a car and have an hours drive, very strait forward route ; taxi which can be prebooked through me which is about !30 - 150 euros; bus from outside the airport which will take you to the bottom of the mountain where a minibus will take you into Les Carroz.. Once in Les Carroz a car is not required as Sabaudia is only 200m from the village centre, 20 m from the nearest shops, bars, restaurants and only 10m from the ice rink.
