Umbrian delight
What a special place Casa Di Luce is. Visited with my family aged from 30-68 and had just the best time. Beautifully positioned, high class finishes, great sized pool, bbq, table tennis etc. Montone is a stunning hilling top village just up the road. Tried all the restaurants and all good. Couldn’t recommend this place enough 10/10.

Another visit to this stunning place
This is the second time my family and I have visited this villa and it is simply beautiful. It holds all the rustic charm that one would come to expect of the Umbrian and Tuscan region with the modern day fixtures and fittings of a luxury hotel. The views are heavenly from the pool and outdoor terraces and you can dine away each night with the sunset or go to the local hilltop village a few minutes drive away with a selection of in my oppinion the prettiest restaurants one could sit at. Paul the manager was excellent as always and tended to any needs and queries. A real treat and hope to come back again. Thank you!

A little taste of luxury in a heavenly setting
We have just returned from 2w at Casa Di Luce, it is every bit as wonderful as the pictures suggest. We travelled with young adult children and their partners, the villa is extremely well kitted out, especially the kitchen where we enjoyed creating meals to eat on the beautiful terrace in the evening light.
Paul, the manager was friendly and helpful. There as a basket of goodies waiting for us so we had some bits on the first night. Montone is an absolutely lovey village and we could have easily spent 2w just sitting in the square in the village having extended breakfasts and playing cards like the locals, or relaxing around the villa but we did stir ourselves for some outings. Perugia is a beautiful town, other favourite outings included Arezzo for the monthly antique market, Assisi, Urbino and Spello. There are at least 4 good restaurants just in Montone which was less than 5m drive away. It was a bit hot and the roads a bit lacking in pavement for us to walk, but it is probably more possible in cooler weather.

Beautiful villa
Six adults and 2 young grandchildren stayed in this beautiful villa with gorgeous views for a week. The villa is in a quiet location but with easy access to restaurants and supermarkets. The facilities are excellent and the owners installed a stair gate for the grandchildren and provided a small food hamper to help for the first evening. Highly recommended for adults and children.

Perfect!
Such an incredible place to stay! We had an amazing month at Casa di Luce. The house is beautiful and is surrounded by amazing countryside. The local towns are also very pretty with lots of great restaurant options - and the location is also perfect for exploring other lovely towns nearby like Assisi and Spello. Our dogs also loved it :) Would definitely return!

Umbrian dreams come true
Our family ranging from 5 months to 73, had a perfect week at Casa di Luce. From the moment we arrived we were enchanted by the beautiful setting of this villa with spectacular views from its elevated position over the classical Umbrian countryside. The owners have taken such obvious care in designing and decorating the villa gardens and pool area. We so enjoyed having breakfast in one area perfectly shaded by two trees from the morning sun. The views of the setting sun over the hills from the other covered eating are so memorable with Jasmin cascading down three pillars. We had no issues with the many steps inside and outside the house which are necessary for a house built on a hillside. It was thrilling seeing the views from the large infinity swimming pool. The charming village of Monotone is less than 5 minute drive away and the excellent prepared food shop Lo Speido and supermarket only 10 minutes away in Umbertide. What a find!

Stunning villa a truly special place
We could not be more happy with our stay and experience at Casa Di Luce, it is a beautiful stylish property. Created with love, it feels like a family home, and has everything you'd hope for to make the stay special. The property is really spacious and stylishly decorated, and feels like a really special place to be. Outside is equally spectacular, the views and sunsets are incredible, the gardens and pool are gorgeous, and it has some lovely touches like a vegetable and herb garden we were told we can take fresh produce from. The local medieval village Montone, it stunning, and has lots of lovely restaurants. I could not recommend Casa Di Luce more, it will exceed all your expectations.

The Enchanting Casa Di Luce
We spent a glorious week, with another family (4 adults 3 children) at this beautiful villa near Montone. With the spectacular views from every aspect of the villa you cannot help but feel happy, particularly when swimming in the infinity pool overlooking the hills and olive groves. Fresh croissants and bread for breakfast are just a short drive (or walk if you are feeling energetic) to the charming hill top town of Montone, along with a range of child-friendly restaurants. Casa Di Luce feels like a much-loved home with its brilliantly equipped kitchen and luxurious bathrooms. Perfectly situated to explore the local area, if you can tear yourself away.

I already want to go back!!!
My family stayed in this house for a week in July, 2019 and we all fell in love with it. The house is so beautiful, clean, spacious, & comfortable. The yard is huge and the pool is heavenly (seriously- the views from the infinity pool are amazing!!). Even the bathrooms in this house are wonderful. The landscaping/design/artwork both inside and outside is gorgeous. The owners clearly put their hearts into this property. I cannot recommend this house enough
The town, Montone, is wonderful as well. Great people, great restaurants, and so very charming.
I already want to go back!!!

The Magic of Casa Di Luce leaves you spellbound.
We love Umbria but we loved Casa Di Luce even more. A beautiful Farmhouse a wonderful and scenic location and peace personified. Close to Umbertide and the lovely hilltop town of Montone, just three kilometres away, where there are some amazing restaurants. Locationally ideal for the towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Cortona and Sienna not too far and a train journey to Florence. It cannot get better than this. If you asked us to think of something negative we would be unable to. The owners have designed the house beautifully and the decor is so nice. Anyone who rents this property will be in for a super time. A big thank you to the owners.
