Tranquil Atmosphere - A lovely ambience for those romance evenings.
Original Stable Door - Share in the buildings history, original memorabilia around the walls.
Poppies in the garden - a theme carried on throughout the Forge.

Patio area. Teak steamers and parasol for the summer. BBQ for the summer evenings.

The Forge, Flempton is located in the beautiful Lark Valley, situated very close to Thetford Forest (within easy walking distance) superb for walks, hiking and cycling. The West Stow Anglo Saxon Village is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive away, as is the beautiful Fullers Mill Garden. The historic town of Bury St Edmunds is just 4 miles away and provides a superb array of restaurants and places to visit.

The Forge has just about everything you could need, the only thing you need to bring is your food and drink. The kitchen is fully fitted with an array of cooking tools should you want to stay in. The garden is very quiet with wooden steamers where you can put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine and in the evening you can make use of the gas BBQ and listen to the bird song.

Just returned from three nights at The Forge, only wish we could have stayed longer! We found the property easily from the instructions given, and felt totally comfortable there. I cannot find any fault at all with The Forge and loved everything about our stay. We didn't use the kitchen to cook for ourselves, we ate out or got takeaway,...

Although we experienced some problems with the boiler losing pressure (no hot water) and the extractor fan not switching of, we enjoyed our stay. It is a perfect place for a couple, warm and cosy and with a full equip kitchen, and the location is perfect to explore the beautiful colours of Autumn in Suffolk. We would love to come...

Interesting quirky accommodation. Very well equipped and handy to many different places of interest in East Anglia. Bed very comfortable. Shower box a wee bit small and it can be a bit dark in the lounge, but really liked the rustic feel.

The Forge is completely self contained with a modern fully fitted kitchen, shower room, double bedroom and living area created around the Forge hearth. The Forge has off road gated parking suitable for two vehicles with a private patio and garden at the rear. The property has central heating but for those romantic winter evenings there is a small wood burner. There is free wifi network facilities.
