Gouves is a quiet resort, with beautiful sandy beach and a small-boat fishing harbour. Ospitalità meravigliosa
Sono ormai anni che visito la Grecia, e ogni volta mi stupisco della meravigliosa ospitalità, che anche in questo caso è stata fantastica grazie a Karen e sua figlia. Gentili, accoglienti e premurose. La struttura è molto bella, ben tenuta e sempre pulita. Dovessi tornare in quel di Creta sicuramente tornerei in questa struttura. Consigliatissimo.

Struttura, proprietaria e prezzi tutto ottimo!
Appartamento molto spazioso.
Accoglienza ottima. La responsabile degli appartamenti, Christina, è sempre stata molto disponibile e cordiale anche nelle fasi di prenotazione.
Gli appartamenti si trovano in una località tranquilla, non troppo distante però dalle attrazioni turistiche e dal mare.
All'interno della struttura, oltre alla piscina, offrono anche il servizio bar.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Cosiglio vivamente questa struttura.

excellente location
nous étions un couple et un enfant de 8 ans.
le contact avec Christina c'est très bien fait et elle nous a répondu a chaque fois que l'on posés une questions.
lors de l'arrivée , nous avons été accueilli par Christina qui nous a considère comme des invités.
le logement correspond exactement aux photos sur le site.
c'est jolie, propre, et la surface est suffisante par rapport au nombre de personne
qui vive dans le logement.
les parties communes sont très bien entretenu, c'est très propre
la piscine est très accessible et les horaires sont bien aménagé.
Christina est une Hôte de très grande qualité qui vous fait gouter des produit du pays et est toujours a votre disposition pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable possible
je vous conseil vivement cet endroit.
il manque juste la climatisation ce qui ferait la location parfaite

Beauty, calmness and quality are not always expensive!..
A great place if you want to get away from the noisy holiday crowds, the impersonal and low quality “all inclusive” and “rooms-to-let”, but still be able to have everything you need close at hand.
Our apartment was super-clean, spacious, elegant, well-equipped and full of light.
The pool is very nice and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the early morning and the late afternoon dives, right one step from our apartment’s door, as well as the evening drinks from the bar by the pool, listening to music (requests allowed ;).
All this came at a very fair price.
And as we were cooking some of our meals in the apartment (there is a mini market and a fine grocery-butcher shop 2 minutes away from the apts), we had nice dinners on our balcony without spending much at all.
Last but not least, our hostess, Christina. She is the one that, with her generous and friendly personality, her discreet constant care and her warm smile, made it all happen just right for us!
Hope to visit again, soon!

Great Place
I stayed at the apartments with my two daughters(11 & 13) for one week.
Christina was great,we were welcomed with a great smile and the smile stayed for the whole week.
The apartment was clean and well kept.
The pool and common areas beautiful.
Christina was happy to hep with anything we needed and helped us plan great day trips around the Island.
We all highly recommend the place.

The place to relax
Clean and well-equipped apartment at great prices.
Peaceful environment, ideal for relaxing. The location is convenient to explore Crete both towards the east and the west.

About the neighborhood
The resort of Kato Gouves is NOT a... touristy place. Here you will be having dinner at a taverna or restaurant, sitting amongst locals. Kato Gouves features a number of cafes and bars, stores, supermarkets, bakeries, car and bike rentals, pharmacies, a medical clinic, ATMs and the most delicious souvlaki and gyros you have ever tasted!<BR>The highlight of Kato Gouves is its sea-side promenade. Along the way, you will come across a boat marina and a beautiful chapel. You may choose from the rocky, "private" parts of the beachline or the larger, sandy beaches with loungers and umbrellas. <BR>Gouves is close to many other seaside resorts, such as Kokkini Hani, Gournes, Analipsis, Anissaras, Hersonissos, Stalis and Malia, each having something unique to offer.<BR><BR>What to do when in Kato Gouves: <BR>- The traditional village of Pano Gouves is a must-visit. It is only a few minutes drive.<BR>- Continue further up from Pano Gouves, to the quaint village of Skotino, and its nearby Skotino cave, which is among the largest in Crete.<BR>- Try sea sports: waterskiing, pedalo, canoe, paragliding, banana boat, or even scuba diving.<BR>- Don't miss the famous Crete Aquarium, in nearby Gournes. <BR>- Visit a Water Park (in Anopolis or Hersonissos). Kids will love it!<BR>- Knossos, the great Minoan Palace, is only 20 kilometres from Gouves and there is frequent bus service. <BR>- Visit the main city of Heraklion and the Archaeological Museum, the Historical Museum of Crete and the Natural History Museum.

When you reach the exit to Kato Gouves turn right.Entering the town of Kato Gouves you will come across an intersection and will see a huge green cross (it's a pharmacy). Continue driving for a few metres and then take a slight right, into the side road which is right next and parallel to the National Road.After about 100 metres you will see Elizabeth Apartments on your right (next to a dancing school).By Bus: Buses to "Aghios Nikolaos" leave from the port or the airport of Heraklion every 15 minutes. It is a short drive to Kato Gouves (15-20 minutes).When you get off the bus in Gouves walk for a few metres on the same side of the road where you got off, past the intersection. You will see a side road (by the National Road). Take this road and in 100 metres you will find Elizabeth Apartments.Getting aroundA car (or motorcycle) is always a good idea if you want to explore the island. However, there is frequent bus service from the East and the West of Crete to Kato Gouves, which is pretty convenient.
